  1. Wow, whiny. I was pointing out that you don't need the source code, the SDK code is sufficient. And yes all of it can be done, not "most", ALL. More to the point, nothing mentioned here is even hard to do. The new model for the grapnel hook and the animations would take the most time. I don't see any value in these suggested changes. But if you want to do it, go for it. I would be happy to help if you get stuck on something. Also, I don't think you know what "Pandora's Box" means.
  2. Absolutely nothing suggested here requires the full source code. All of it can, and has, been done with just the original SDK.
  3. You are correct, JKO is infinitely better. "Looking better" is not only subjective, but meaningless. Gameplay, not graphics, is what matters.
  4. MysteriousStrange, do you happen to have anything describing the .efx file functions? I'm having a heck of a time figuring them out, and there is no where I can find that tells me what the lines do, what the optional parameters are, and so on. I have effectsEd already, I don't like it. At all. I perfer to do it with notepad, but like I say, some reference would be helpful. Thanks!
  5. Did you remove the rotation from all of the .menu files?
  6. I can't get to those pages from here, but I will assume they are JK2 mods and not JK3? For a Mod, you need to create a folder in GameData and place the mod in there. Without the folder the game won't see it.

    The best "moding programs" are Notpade.exe and C++ VB.
  8. Looking at your door top down, press N to bring up the window. Then either: click the button on the lower left that shows the angle you want. They are in a square pattern, or just to the right of that is an Up or Down option. Or enter the Key: Angle and the value in degrees. -1 is Up and -2 is Down if I recall correctly. The other values are 45, 90, etc. 90 is toward the top of the map I believe as you look down on it.
