Hello all, i used to play on my favorite servers with a ping on 50 - 100 ping, then i was gone for 20 days and i came back, noticing the ping had raised by 150, now it's 200 - 250. I've no clue what caused this, anybody know how to attend this fault?

Attacking a person physically and verbally is not the same because i can't inflict pain verbally, only if i bully somebody and they get self-destructive which i didn't, and that is attacking someone in a forum without getting physical. To bully somebody. This is my opinion.
Mankind must learn to forgive and forget. There is already to much hate in this world.
Ban me if you please, i don't mind. I'd just pity you.

Is it just me, or does every admin in EVERY server abuse their powers!
There was this one guy that couldn't speak English and the admins forced him on the floor, muted him, and they said that nobody gets near the "sleepers", the un-muted him once in awhile to see if he spoke English, but no.
Then i told them they were abusing their powers and told them to cut him some slack, he responded "Horrah Thank good for the liberty of speech" something and i got banned. What did the author of Ja+ think of when he created this.. 2 thumbs down!!!

Neither did i know that it was possible, but now it seems it is. If you suspect it, ask him if he gave it to somebody else, if he did just change it, second thought, change it now and you wont have to worry about some stranger that have got your rcon.
Since he stole the server.cfg file.. he will host the same server as yours, look for it, if he is hosting with your cfg file the chances are good that you'll find it. Good luck.

Mm, disturbing.. maybe it was someone you know? a friend perhaps, that opened your server.cfg file while you were away and stole the pass.
The 1.cfg file.. someone must have written it, in conole you say "write "x"" and it writes a cfg file, have you accessed it and looked what's written inside?
Could also be a keylogger, clean your computer from spy wares and not viruses.
Host as normal, I'm pretty confident nothing will happen, if it does then I'm not much of use
anyway, hope everything turns well

Just wondering, is it possible to fake a ping? The hoster always has a zero ping, so the players which break rules/crash servers.. always has the upper hand.

Hello I've a issue, don't really know if you can do this.. but is it possible to "force" people to use melee and not the lightsaber in your server? if so, what do i do? any help would really be appreciated because I'm still a novice.

I ain't got a clue, but, as soon as a player meets one of the maps bots it lags as hell, anybody know what's causing this?

Depends on which patch he will host it, 1.01 or 1.0I cant recommend Jamded, but i do recommend jamp.exe and properties and add this in line like i have.C:\games\JediAcademy\GameData\jamp.exe set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg
Only the console will start up and works alot better for me.
Jampded keeps giving me a c000000000 error in event viewer ( something like that )
In the JampDed shortcut on your destskop, add "+exec server.cfg +set net_port 29071 +set dedicated 2"

The difference between you and me is, you play in 1.01 and i 1.0 therefore it's not the same, I've already tried that Guard, but thanks anyway.. seems my server will never be protected against those who exploits these glitches therefore I'll never be able to host again.Dont add on asset4.pk3, didnt work for me, add it same place you got it from. -
Ok Jedi-Guard, thanks anyway.. i got it, adding new info
- download the codmsgfix
- open the following file contained in your Jedi Academy folder with a
ZIP program (like Winzip for example): (OR WINRAR WORKS FINE TO)
GameData\base\assets3.pk3
note that the number of the assets file can change if you have other
versions of the game, in any case get the file with the higher
number available.
- extract the file jampgamex86.dll
- launch codmsgfix.exe and patch the jampgamex86.dll.
- select the dll file you have just extracted, you will receive a
success message
- create a zip file containing only the patched jampgamex86.dll file.
the name of the zip must be assets4.pk3 (note the number 4 while the
other zip was 3) and must be placed in the same folder where is
located assets3.pk3.
IF IN 1.0 YOU HAVE ONLY ASSETS 2 AS HIGHEST, THEREFORE TYPE "assets.pk3" INSTEAD OF 4!!
- your server is patched and will no longer crash (or worst since this
is a buffer-overflow bug).

More news, I've found out that when you patch jammpgamex86.dll you can only play on patched servers, other servers will put up an error message therefore you can't enter. But I'm playing in 1.0, maybe in 1.01 they are all protected.

Hey man just do like i did, put your base folder on your desktops, keep only skins and stuff what you wish to save, then re-install Jk3, download the JamDed again, use your old settings in server.cfg, launch it and it's all going to run smooth, it worked for me, you should try it
I forgot, when uninstalling remove ALL old settings! peace out

I'm using 1.0 and i have downloaded ipatch, runned it and extracted jampgamex86.dll to the desktops, and mounted the jampgamex86.dll with ipatch, it only says "the data files is oncomplete or corrupted" what am i doing wrong? i really need help

sure acdc, i just started from ground zero, since i couldn't find the problem i re-installed jk3, got the files for creating a server and used my old settings. Thats it, voila =)
Didn't trow away my base folder though, i kept my skins and stuff

I personally have never experienced somebody stealing my password, don't really think anybody can do that, only way for them to see your password is if you have your kt on while hosting and typing "rconpass xxxx" and just when you're about to log in your kt says something and everybody sees it.
