  1. If Calo Nord was a Sith Lord, he'd be Darth Calo. Simple.
  2. also, if you still have any interest in developing the as of now abandoned Return to Dantooine I can write the plot out, save you some work there (I had the plot in my head anyway). I can't write dialog to save my backside but I can put together a plot. Message me if interested

  3. How's Revenge of Revan looking? I'm looking for a new experience in KotOR II (after I do a playthrough with TSLRCM of course)

  4. The bolded part is only half-true. Disney has only licensed EA, this is true. But BioWare, as a division of EA, could be assigned by EA to develop the game. Just the same as EA itself isn't developing (i.e. creating) the new Battlefront game. -- One of their subsidiaries, EA DICE (formerly "DICE") is. EA is the publisher. Obsidian is more or less irrelevant because they were contracted by LucasArts for KotOR II at the recommendation of BioWare, who at the time was working on Jade Empire and turning their focus to their own IPs such as Mass Effect
  5. A decent idea, but for me graphics are secondary to story. And I'd much rather a true, proper, real, not MMORPG KotOR III
  6. A couple items before I begin: If this is the wrong place, I apologize. In that situation I'd ask a moderator to relocate it to the correct location. I tried to take a screen shot but I was unsuccessful... The basic description of this issue, which is minor, and not game breaking is as follows: Whenever I activate an energy shield equipped to Atton, his character model glitches so that it 'glides' rather than 'walks'. the overlay of the shield 'glow' doesn't fit well over him - the glow appears to walk as it should. Atton's character model also seems to break apart, in tune with his 'breathing'. It doesn't happen to the Exile, and I haven't tested it on Kreia, because I hardly use her anyway. I have the following modifications installed (although I doubt it is caused by a mod, I am including this list because I suspect I'll be asked if I have mods installed): Ultimate Saber Mod Remote Tells Influence TSL Uniforms Invisible Headgear M-6 Carnifex - TSL Edition TSL Hak Pad RedHawke's Correction Armband I also have a modification (name escapes me) that adds a Force Power called "Lightsaber Floating (Superior Weapon Focus: Lightsaber I, II, III," although I have never selected it and don't know how to get rid of it) I can, upon request, copy my override folder to a .rar archive and upload it to Dropbox or some other file sharing entity. EDIT: After a test, I have found that the energy shield displays correctly on Kreia.
  7. Follow-up:

I narrowed the problem down (quite unscientifically, I'll admit) to the file tar02_duelorg02.dlg

I am not an expert so I don't know why it causes that.

But when Ajuur gargles out "you want to step into the ring again?..." the conversation node terminates without giving me the opportunity to reply.

Deleting the .dlg file (and thus eliminating the ability to claim Bendak's armour from Ajuur?) rectifies this

(I actually installed your icon overhaul pack which seems to add the 3 armours from this pack to Kebla's store anyway...so C'est la vie, as they say.)

Other than this issue I love the mods, and I also installed your Sith Armour pack one as well

  8. I was hoping you could help me.

I recently installed your Mandalorian Armour pack from deadly stream. Now, whenever I talk to Ajuur the Hutt, the conversation terminates after he finishes talking. I only encountered this problem after installing your mod, and seeing as your mod includes a .dlg file for Ajuur, I wanted to ask you if you were aware of this already

  9. While I acknowledge that this is a possibility, I do think that ultimately it's also possible the Death Star had two purposes: First, to scare rebellious systems into falling in line under threat of annihalation. And second, to defend the Empire against any threats that would pop up. Tarkin as you say got a bit power mad and arrogant, underestimating the Rebellion just as Palpy did. Had Alderaan's destruction not backfired on the Empire--spurring numerous star systems to pledge their support to the Alliance--it would have eventually been able to turn the Death Star against any outside threats.
  10. In some cases, though, shouldn't the safety of the public be taken into consideration? For instance, according to some news outlets, Dzhokhar claimed that after the Boston Marathon, he and his brother were going to head to Times Square in New York City, New York to detonate additional explosive devices. After that, who knows? The cops got him off the street and used the exception in the interest of Public safety to ensure that these two weren't funded by some larger terrorirst group. (Which he claims they were not; whether that is to be believed is another issue). My point: sometimes there are extreme circumstances. In those instances, the rights of criminals should at least be suspended in the interest of protecting the lives of the general public. I am not advocating a police state. Far from that. I am advocating the authorities getting people like Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev off the streets and preventing people they may have been associated with from following in their footsteps and finishing what they started. Also worth consideration: Was Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's citizenship valid? When becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, one must take an oath, swearing loyalty to the United States. Detonating the bombs at the marathon with the expressed intent of maiming U.S. Citizens (and foreign nationals visiting to participate/watch) could be seen as an act of treason; it could also be argued (but proven? I am not so sure, admittedly) that when he took the oath, he didn't actually intend to live up to it. The oath: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the armed forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."
  11. True. And as someone living in the Greater-Boston area, I want to be absolutely sure there are no other undetonated bombs like the ones these "humans" (used loosely) decided to plant at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. They had more with them; the APB that was out on them on Thursday night/ Friday morning suggested they were headed for NYC. They were planning more attacks. If they use the public safety exemption to get info about their immediate plans, motivations etc, I am all for that. I endorse it. Especially, as I said, as a resident of The Greater-Boston area. Afterwards, Mirandize him and bring the heavy in terms of prosecution. Simply put: make him pay but do it legally.
  12. Interesting. If it makes you feel better, FOX News came out with it yesterday (4/22) and CNN later agreed that he'd been Mirandized. He also physically is unable to speak due to a bullet wound in hit throat. Both of which change things. I think they used the public safety exception to gain information about any immediate threats (i.e. more unexploded bombs) and are mirandizing him for when they take him to trial. Just my feeling. Could be more off than Gary Busey.
  13. Per Fox News, he has actually been read his Miranda Rights. There are two schools of thought here: (1) Good (or bad) - the "yes I believe it" school (2) well, it's Fox News... (the "I'll buy it when I see it" school)
  14. First, let me say that I read your entire post. Second, I get your concerns. I do. But when they found him he was bleeding out badly and was too weak to resist. If they had read him his rights, he'd either be so weak he might not get it; unfamiliar with the process as a non-native to the country; or doped out of his mind and unable to answer. If they read him his rights it will be after he is back down from his drug-induced state (this assumes that he will not simply expire from his wounds in the hospital, which is what I personally hope happens. Yes that would mean they'd get no information from him, but honestly I doubt he'll give anything up anyway when he's a professional killer at age 19) In this case, also, the public safety exception clearly should apply. The guy was (is) a psychotic bomber, who carried out a plot to kill and maim as many people as he possibly could. He and his dirt bag, now deceased brother only managed to kill four people - including an eight year old boy - but they clearly planned to kill many more based on the suicide vest his corpse of a brother was wearing and the pipe bombs and the like they were hurling at the pursuing officers. As to your drug mule example: This one I disagree with. The Police usually use the drug mules to get to the traffickers. They usually give them some sort of deal, since in some cases they become drug mules simply because they feel they have no options.
  15. Update: Suspect #1 was killed early in the morning Today 4/19/13; Suspect #2 Captured ALIVE today 4/19/13 Mayor Thomas M. Menino @mayortommenino "We got him." Boston Police Dept. @Boston Police CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody.
  16. Yesterday, on April 15th 2013, at 2:50pm, two explosive devices were detonated at the Finish line of the Boston Marathon in Boston, Massachusetts. For those of you that don't know, the Boston Marathon is an internationally known and renowned sporting event which attracts runners from across the globe. Running approximately 26.2 Miles from Hopkinton, MA to Boston's Copley Square, it has become a staple of Boston tradition. In the course of this tragedy, over 170 people have been confirmed injured; 17 critically so. As of this posting, the death toll sits at 3, including 8 year old Martin Richard. The day is also significant: Yesterday was Patriot's Day, which is a holiday in Boston that celebrates the role Boston (and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a whole) in the American Revolutionary War in 1776. This is truly a horrific tragedy. However, I remain a proud Bostonian and I know the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will stand strong.
  17. A Pennyslvanian is more likely to say something positive about the 49ers than the Giants (Eagles/Giants H-A-T-E each other) or the Patriots (Some Eagles fans are butt hurt that the Pats beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl)
  18. I sent a request to transfer the Return to Dantooine group to you.

  19. So the Patriots cut Tiquan Underwood. The day before the Super Bowl. Poor kid. Got that Flying Elvis shaved into his hi-top fade for nothing.
  20. I consider Eddie Robinson to be the winningist College Football Coach ever, even if the Evil Sportsman Promotion Network (ESPN) wants to say otherwise
  21. - I pick the New England Patriots... final score...23-22 This is a rematch of Super Bowl XLII, which will haunt me forever (details here and here) I think the Patriots get their revenge and win it for Myra Kraft (click) Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show)
