  1. customization for the troops would be awesome! why? for bf1 me and another person have created actual starwars squadrons (sector) & (storm commando) with starwars names. This would make Clan Wars more interesting. we have a ranking system which gamespyid saves. we have ribbons & medals, profiles. to add color to your character is a good idea, Lieutenants are blue, Commanders are red for example, look it up if you don't believe me. add more starwars characters from the movies for god's sake, i'm sure the PS3 could handle that. combine BF1 & BF2 levels together and add some more, with fighting on land & air & space.... does BluRay mean anything here? duh. Take the Battlefront Leaderboards and combine them together for ****'s sake. BF2 had some great levels but I bought it and played online BF2 and i threw it out the window because i wasn't able to add spacing in my online nickname and you couldn't command the A.I. to do simple things like "hold your position" etc. not to mention the people who play online are complete wankers. p.s. don't you know that BF1 is alive and well? come play online sometime. chat in my room on my server. the room is: (sector.&.storm).HeadShots on the PS2.. I'm #2 on the Battlefront Leaderboard. But anyways, check out the myspace page for us at: http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user&MyToken=18f961b1-7573-4121-81cb-74ae560a484a
  2. Here’s what I got: I have 2 Ethernet Cables, One going to the PC & one going to the PS2 (SEPARATE ip addresses) from a Cisco Router. I am running the PS2 Dedicated Server on the PC & logging on to my room with the PS2. On the PS2, the Network Adapter info for: Ip-Address & DNAS is set-up correctly. .................................................. .................................................. The PC: (ports that are forwarded) static tcp 3658 (Star Wars Battlefront) static udp 3658 (Star Wars Battlefront) static tcp 6500 (GameSpy Arcade query port) static udp 27900 (GameSpyID, master server udp heartbeat) .................................................. .................................................. .. what do I see? a) my room: (T.G.E.).Headshots is playable b) Session 1 has a high ping (Headset works) c) Session 2 has a low ping (Headset doesn't work) ...weird... d) I am able to hear & speak in the other people's rooms e) GameSpyId has a difficult time recording my stats for both Sessions f) My Windows XP Home Edition Firewall is on, exceptions for above ports If anyone knows the TRUE SET-UP for hosting the PS2 Server for Battlefront 1 on their PC and able to access the room on their PS2 with no problems, please respond, and if it works, I will inform everyone! Thank you!

On the PS2, the Network Adapter info for: Ip-Address & DNAS is set-up correctly. .................................................. .................................................. .... The PS2: (ports that are forwarded) static tcp 3783 (GameSpy Arcade voice chat) static tcp 6500 (GameSpy Arcade query port) this was also forwarded to the PC, mistake?? static udp 6515 (GameSpy Arcade game data) static tcp 6667 (IRC, Internet Relay Chat) static udp 13139 (GameSpy Arcade custom udp pings) static tcp 28900 (GameSpy Arcade master server list request) static tcp 29900 (GP Connection Manager), what is this???!!!! static tcp 29901 (GP Search Manager), what in the name of Palpatine???!!!! static tcp 29920 (????????), what the buggary bullocks is this????!!! .................................................. .................................................. .. Now with this insane setup that i have gathered from various sources (including this forum), what do I see? a) my room: (saber).Headshots is playable b) the room has a low ping c) I am not able to hear or speak with a Headset d) I am able to hear & speak in the other rooms e) GameSpyId has a difficult time recording my stats (27900 should be forwarded to the PS2 IP Address???) f) My Windows XP Home Edition Firewall is OFF, Router has one already If anyone knows the TRUE SET-UP for hosting the PS2 Server for Battlefront 1 on their PC and able to access the room on their PS2 with no problems, please respond, and if it works, I will inform everyone!
