  1. Definitely Taris. The closest thing you get to Coruscant in the KOTOR series.
  2. Yeah, I mean - what did you a expect? A MMO on a console? That's a laugh.
  3. LOL, I never said that it shouldn't be left out. Of course, battling is an important factor in the game, but I hope that there'll be professions. Bounty Hunting, for example, would be very interesting, assassinating targets without being seen.
  4. In my opinion, I think that the best possible MMO that can be made out of Star Wars would be a non-canon to the storyline one. Imagine just the universe, and you would be some kind of freelancer in it, and have a job, like bounty hunter, entertainer, diplomat, Czerka Corporation employee and such, and not being necessarily Jedi or Sith, part of the Republic or the Sith Empire, just, as Jango Fett says in the movies, "I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.", or something like that. The idea of just Sith and Jedi fighting in a MMO sounds pretty dumb and uninteresting to me - I hope there'll be professions and such, and freelance exploring and doing interesting story-driven quests. I hope it'll be like that, not just simple killing. But, the possibility of joining a Jedi/Sith academy and learning the ways of the Force shouldn't be left out, either. But being Jedi/Sith shouldn't have an effect on the jobs you do to make your living. As far as I could tell by reading the description of the SW MMO, it states that "choose to be a Jedi or Sith". I don't think there'll be much variety in it. And also, the events in the galaxy that would be determined by other players, should have an effect on the galaxy itself. Just like in KotOR, poisoning the kolto -> the price for the medpacks raises. And, during the Jedi/Sith war, there would be different things to do in a specific planet determined if it is either controlled by the Sith or the Jedi. Important thing that it shouldn't be left out is the fact that there should be different organisations than the Sith and the Jedi - like the Exchange and Pirate organisations, such as the Hutts.
  5. Thanks for the advice, human. Now that I am playing DS Force Drain would be a suitable Force Power not only for that battle.
  6. Here is the build I used in my last game. Click! Most of the time it was extremely easy. As I said earlier, the only hard part I had was the final battle. Had to plant mines.
  7. Thanks for the advice, about attributes I emphasized on Strength and Intelligence, because I wanted skills badly, made them about 20 and 18. Constitution and Wisdom were at 12, and the others I left them at 10. Can't say I cared about Dexterity and Charisma, because I didn't use blasters or needed Charisma. I will begin my second playthrough with a Dark Side female soon, so I will keep your advices in mind. I want feats to be as frequent as Canderous', though, because they really help. I didn't have trouble at the game at all in my last playthrough, only the final confrontation with Darth Malak was painful. Everything else was so easy, but at the end Malak proved too much. I found myself planting a line of deadly mines in order to beat him. I was lucky he lagged or something and he just stared at me for half a minute or so, so I could plant my mines. Even the Trandoshans at Yavin were easy pickings.
  8. It is very hard to decide, because each planet is unique and it is exciting in a different way. But Manaan is on the first place, I really liked it, and all these trials were awesome, it really made my brain think a little. And the Selkath are interesting - I never get sick of their alien talk. Yavin Station - that's the one on the second place, though it may not be as long as the others, but I really liked the Trandoshan enounter and Suvan Tan, and his items, of course. Not to be left out, Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Taris, Korriban and the Unknown World are one of my favourites as well. The only place I didn't like much is the Star Forge itself.
  9. Thanks everyone, for the advices. Well, yes, I do use dual wield weapons. Thanks for the tip, I'll try a different strategy.
  10. I am going to play this wonderful game yet again. Even if I have played KotOR II way too little, I still enjoy KotOR I much more, despite playing it for so many times. Anyway, I confess that most of the time I used cheats, but this time I'm going to try to beat the game without any cheats. My question is, what is the perfect build? I try to increase Intelligence at the start at maximum, so I can get a lot of skill points, but yet when I play with melee weapons I always find myself: *miss* *miss* *miss* I just can't deal damage with melee weapons, even if my Strength is high, and most of the killing is done by my party members. How do they do it? Thanks, Teo
  11. I reinstalled it from another disc, now it's: Jedi Knight has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I launch it. Someone help me play this game!
  12. Can somebody help me? When I install the game, and then try to launch it, I get this error message: I'm running under Windows XP Pro and I have tried all the possible options (Standard, Minimum, Maximum Installation, Low-Res, High-Res Sounds).
  13. I think the game should and needs to be released for PC, too. I mean, look at LucasArts! A shame! It hasn't released any PC Star Wars games for a very, I mean very, long time. The last one I recall is LEGO Star Wars II. I mean, don't tell me LA has grown soft.
