    I'm trying to do the same thing and I'm having trouble. I imported all the areas of the Trayus Academy entrance and in the process of setting it up I discovered that my scale is kind of off. According to a set of coordinates I took from the game the center of the second room that takes you to the core of the temple sits in the center of the t intersection of the main entrance. What do you change the scale to? I set mine to meters and it's close but still not right.

  5. Description - You can change the name to "Darth Bandon's Lightsaber" in the name field and this will be the name of the item in the game. The same also goes for the item description, for that you might write "This was the weapon of Malak's apprentice Darth Bandon."

     

     

     

    At this point you can save your item, but make it something unique so that it doesn't override another item. If you follow the same item naming system that K1 uses, name it anything greater than "g_w_dblsbr006.utc".

     

    Once the file is in the override folder you can start up K1 one, enter in "giveitem 'item's file name'" and you should have it in your inventory.

  6. Don't do anything to the Tantive or Devastator modules because I just got the latest material updated yesterday. If you can hold off for a little while I'll give you some things to work with. I really need to talk to Timbob about Ansion but one thing that I really do need right now are new side quests. So if you can come up with them by putting them down on paper that would be the best course of action right now.

     

    Oh another thing you can do is go ahead and look through the new material for the Tantive and the Devastator for now. Make sure that you get the NEW MATERIAL!!! I'm uploading it now.

  7. Global Variables is a references for Booleans and Numbers.

     

    Booleans are true or false statements that start out by default as false.

     

    Numbers on the other hand are number references. They can equal anything from 0 through in theory infinity but I suppose the most you would really ever want to go is 25. I think my biggest one I ever did was 15ish. By default they are 0.

    Also if you know how could you do the hex edit thing so that you can reskin the module and keep its original looking the same? If you can I would like to have the .git and the .are files named as their corresponding module. For example 301NAR.git will really become sle002.git. I hope you can understand this.

  12. Hey payne, sorry I haven't spoken for a while. Question for you though. I lost the New Korriban Tomb mod but it hasn't been forgotten. I'm working on a new planet that will have the New Korriban Tomb as a sequal.

  17. I know there is a kick ass looking droid that I would love to use as the droid who joins you on Mygeeto. However there are some problems with the animations. Last time I checked it had a problem when you just stood still. Rather than just standing around, the droid would continue the running animation but not move any where and if you spawned the droid would spawn with the arms spread straight out. I'm going to talk to Dak or VP about this and see if there is anything that can be done before we cancel the idea using this droid. Just so you know I'm hoping to be able to use the Construction Droid that I believe was cut from the M4-78 planet.

     

    But as for any animation fixes, I'll more than likely only use them if I need them.

  20. I want to thank you for your "How to model an Area" tutorial you made, that taught me how to model in no time at all, less than a day!

     

    But I have a question for you. I'm having trouble using KAurora. Whenever I clock "Load from ascii file" under the model menu the program freaks out and tells me it will attempt (which really mean it will) continue to operate or you can quite. It also says that it cannot load "Microsoft.DirectX, Version=1.0.2902.0."

     

    Any ideas why this is happening?

  21. It will be difficult to send everything over to you but using something like rapidshare or imagehost because the files are so large and I've had problems with it in the past. So just let me know when you get your computer fixed and I'll add you to my dropbox account.

     

    For now I'll PM you the script we're using so that you may become familiar with the outline of the story.

  23. No, everything that I get for SOTE is coming from either TSL or somebody is making it. That may be a little confusing but I'm making this game 100% nonported I guess is the answer you wanted.

     

    Also what do you think about this idea. At some point on Slehayron you will be able to purchase one of three droids. Do you think it would be a good or bad idea to set it up so that the PC can swap the droid with a different one at any given moment just so long as you can travel to Slehayron?

  24. Once you have K1 and Kotor Tool downloaded you need to go to the following directories and select which Double-Bladed Lightsaber for Darth Bandon you're going to us (I believe that's why you VMed me), I'm going to assume that you're going to use the red one.

     

    BIFs / Templates / Blueprint, Item / and scroll down for the g_w_dblsbr002.utc and double click it.

     

    For now the main thing you want to focuse on are the four tabs, for you being a beginner you want to pay the most attention to the properties and description tabs.

     

    Properties - This is where you go to add properties to the weapon such as damage bonuses and attribute gains. There are numberous things you can do here and most of them are selfexplainatory and I'm not going to take the time to describe each one because there are so many. But add or change anything you want here to you're satisfaction and you'll be halfway there.
