  1. I bought Skyrim, Outlast, Contagion, The Amnesia Bundle and Mafia 2. All of them on the Steam Summer sale. I'm going to have to stop buying anymore games before I'm broke.
  2. Thanks for the detailed and informative post. I'll definitely look into those mods you listed. I just got to white-run right now so I'm gonna need to install all of these mods right now to get the best gaming experience possible with Skyrim, as early as possible.
  3. I'm not sure if anyone still plays it, but I just bought Skyrim (Legendary Edition) last night while it was on sale on Steam after not having played it for 1 and a half year now. I have a question. Since being out of the loop in the Skyrim modding community for a long time now, I wanted to know what mods you guys would recommend to improve the game-play and enhance the graphics, and overall the whole experience. If any of you could help me out with this, that would be great. Thanks again guys.
  4. Grim Fandango is being remastered for the PS4 and Vita.
  5. I'm playing The Witcher 2 right now. I tried to get into the first game, but the combat was just so horrendous that I could not get into it. It kept pulling me away from the game, and eventually I just stopped playing it. The Witcher 2, however, is a vast improvement, with a better game-play system, and a better combat system than the original. It also has an engaging (if slow) storyline. I just got through the prologue, and that took more than 2 hours for me. I've only just started playing the actual main-game. What I'm concerned about The Witcher 3 though is whether I'll be run it or not. I currently have a GTX 650 Ti card, and I'm able to play Witcher 2 on mostly ultra settings (ubersampling however kept making the game lag so I just turned it off) but considering that Witcher 3 is mostly aimed at new generation consoles, I don't know if I'll be able to run it on high graphic settings. I guess we'll just have to wait and see on that one.
  6. Out of all those games listed, the only one I'm actually playing so far is BioShock Infinity. I'm waiting for a Metro series sale on Steam, I don't have the Nintendo 3Ds to play Pokemon X and Y (I will soon), Rockstar didn't release GTA V for PC yet so I'll have to wait on that, and The Stanley Parable will be on my Steam collection soon. I have no interest in any of the other games listed. So far though, I'm greatly enjoying BioShock Infinity and consider it to be a vast improvement over BioShock 2. It completely immerses you in its game-world and doesn't let you go until you realize it's dinner time. Probably the best sale purchase I made on Steam yet. I'll have to get around to playing more games that came out this year though.
  7. That got it to work, but I avoided that route on purpose. The reason being is because Steam gave me a warning about how I should not run the client on compatibility mode or admin mode. I'm a bit concerned about what could happen to my Steam client if I do keep running it in compatibility mode just for one game. Oh well, at least Jade Empire is working now. Thanks again.
  8. I bought Jade Empire on Steam a few days back when it was on special. I've been trying to run the game but all I've gotten from all this is problems. Jade Empire simply will not work on my Steam platform for some reason and I honestly don't know what to do to fix this problem. It seems like BioWare has an anti-Steam agenda and designed their old games to be as incompatible with Steam as possible. That's an exaggeration on my part, but you guys know the point I'm trying to get at. Anyway, being the good person I am, I took a picture of the problem. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) I have Google searched this problem, and I have tried this method but it didn't work. If any of you know how to fix this problem, then please send back a reply. Thank you again for your time and patience.
  9. I just bought a new graphic card for my computer, the GTX 650 Ti with 2 GB. So naturally with this new upgrade, I've started to catch up on games that I couldn't play before. So since the graphic card upgrade, I've been playing The Witcher 2 The Enhanced Edition for the PC, Far Cry 3, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution The Directors Cut.
  10. I watch anime and read manga way too often. I guess you can say that it's a hobby of mine No, but seriously, anime is one of my most favorite things in the world, that I watch at least one episode of an anime show everyday (I watch more than one). This recent spring/summer season brought a lot of great shows such as Date a Live, Attack on Titan and Watamote. And now with the fall season line-up, shows such as Strike the Blood are starting to hit their peak. If there's one thing I do hate about anime though, it's post-anime depression. I had with Death Note, Clannad, Mirai Nikki, and Cowboy Bebop. Thankfully, I don't experience it anymore. *Date a Live *School Days *Clannad *Death Note *Kanon *Code Geass *Air (Dropped it) *Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) *Harui Suziumiya *Angel Beats *Cowboy Bebop *Monster *Sword Art Online *Elfen Lied *Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) *WataMote *Attack of the Titans Not a lot of shows, I know. I have a big fat list of shows that I'm going to watch soon. When? I truly don't know. Considering that I keep adding more and more titles to my list, I don't know if I'm ever going to get through all of them. As for manga's, I'm currently reading Attack on Titan, Watamote, and Letter Bee.
  11. The package I bought includes vanilla WoW, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lynch King. It didn't have Cataclysm or Mists. It was a good deal though, only $5 from Blizzards Battle.net site. It doesn't matter for me at the moment though because I still have to renew my subscription to WoW, and I'm not even close to Burning Crusade yet, let alone Cataclysm.
  12. I like Blizzard. Their games are some of best PC games that are currently out there, and despite Diablo 3 not reaching the standards of most Blizzard games, I still respect Blizzard, and their continued efforts to release fun, entertaining and memorable games. I've played both StarCraft (both one and two, and the expansion packs Brood War and Heart of Swarm) and World of WarCraft (the vanilla version, haven't reached to any expansion yet and I was playing as a dwarf hunter. I'm at level 45 right now) and I enjoy both series immensely. I just didn't like the Heart of Swarm expansion pack and that's only because I hate playing as the Zergs. I'm anxiously looking forward to Legacy of the Void.
  13. You realize that most people will pick KotOR over the others, right? Anyhow, I actually did make a top ten Star Wars game list a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
  14. Mass Effect and Skyrim weren't grimdark, and they were AAA titles. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing what Star Wars 1313 is bringing to the table. I think this will be LucasArt's comeback to "quality" video gaming after a very long "hit and miss" trial with the Clone Wars series. And I'm really looking forward to it. I just hope it doesn't end up like The Force Unleashed, in which anticipation and hopes were high before release, but ultimately came down as being disappointing after. I still don't understand why it's called "1313" though. Couldn't LucasArts have come up with something more unique than three random numbers? Unless it's being planned to change.
