  1. I always map the movement controls to the arrow keys, attacks to the mouse, and other things (open/jump/crouch/interact) to the keys around the arrows. This makes it easy to control.
  2. Okay time to bring this back. Luke has become the apprentice of Starkiller, Yoda is still alive, Leia and Han are still alive. The Rebels have been decimated on Hoth, what's left of them will be regrouping going into ROTJ. Luke is lost to the Dark Side. Leia is the only hope left for the Jedi, I think she goes to train with Yoda after Ben's spirit leads her there. Meanwhile Starkiller will use Luke to destroy Palpatine. Maybe he will track Leia down and kill Yoda on Dagobah, setting up a Luke vs Leia final battle? With Starkiller taking the winner as his full apprentice. Oh and before anyone gripes about giving the Hoth ending away, spoiler warning is in the thread title.
  3. Yoda was powerful enough to lift an X-wing in ESB, I think he could have fought if needed. The problem with a Dagobah level would be that only 1 person is on it in the movies, so you need things to fight as you work your way towards him. Maybe some Dagobah swamp monsters, or maybe even Rebels trying to find him.
  4. We don't know for sure that Luke dies yet, we just see a clip of Starkiller jumping on him. I'd also like to see a Dagobah mission where you kill Yoda.
  5. There's so much potential in this dark storyline they would be foolish to end it after USE. They should expand it to Bespin, and ROTJ where he is sent to stop Luke, Leia and Han. Maybe end it with a final battle with the Emperor on the 2nd Death Star
  6. What exactly is this? I can't find an entry about it on wookiepedia. I'm not asking what it does, I get the general concept- dropping troops and gear for ground ops. I'd just like to know what its real name is.
  7. I wish they would hold off on USE, and just make it an entire game. Several levels, storyline, etc. You're right about the price being ridiculous for just 1 mission.
  8. Yes, and the XXXB combo to launch them in the air. Then finish it with another simultaneous combo to complete the grapple. The moves should slam the opponent to the ground.
  9. I think it means the mid air grab combos. Use the Y+B, or XXXB, with the grapple slam combos once you get the enemy in the air (X+A, Y+B)
  10. Which do you prefer, Starkiller lightning or Vader choke in the prologue? The lightning can be mixed into saber attacks, used to wear down the larger enemies (ATST/Rancors), used with force grip to make grenades, and the lightning bomb power. But there's just something about Vader crushing Wookie throats that makes it more fun
  11. Just select the Death Star mission from your pause menu. You can do that once you beat the game
  12. This is a great way to take out flame troopers- Regular saber throw to take out energy shield + lightning dash to stun and catch lightsaber + the X, X, B combination to send them flying away and exploding in the air.
  13. Yoda trained him after Hoth. That's why Obi-Wan appeared to him as a ghost.
  14. Okay so we see Starkiller fighting Obi-Wan on Tatooine, and Luke on Hoth. Looks like Obi-Wan will die, based on the 360 achievement. So who trains Luke as a Jedi? We know Luke takes on Starkiller at Hoth, which happened after this. So unless Luke was trained by ghost Obi-Wan, then Starkiller will be fighting a newbie with zero force training.
  15. Charged saber throw on one enemy, catch it and immediately do the X+A on another. This can be tied in with the one I put above if you have 3 enemies. Making for a nice string of saber throw combos.
  16. Y+B combo, at the top hit X to flip him up for the in air combos. Hold LT and press X once (important since it breaks the chain, without doing it you do the incinerating slash down), keep holding LT as the enemy falls to the ground and hold X for a charged saber throw. The saber will stick in the enemy. Then focus on another one and do a lightning dash. The saber will then come back to you while the new enemy is shocked, he will still be standing. Do the X+A move as soon as you catch it. pwnage
  17. Lightning dash on jawa, followed by Sith punt. Saber throw as Vader, force choke another nearby enemy, and catch the saber as the throat is crushed. There was an awesome moment were I did that, with a force push off a ledge mixed in, followed by 3 straight chokes.
  18. Leia must be the founder of the Alliance, because she is the only rebel that survived the Dark ending.
  19. I found a new way to destroy those junk droids on Raxus. X&A attack + Y&RT lightning bomb once it falls over + saber stab making the droid fall apart. I also did a lightning bomb that threw 2 of them off a cliff, and knocked another over next to me, which I quickly stabbed. 3 dead in about 3 seconds.
  20. I'm always looking for new ways to pwn in TFU. I've memorized all of the moves, powers and combos to the point where I'm looking to go beyond them. Through enviornment objects and stacked combos (not the ones that flow). I've learned that continuing damage will leave the enemy alive for additional force powers to be used on it, allowing continuous force use until you let him die or finish it with a ground stab. My best moments have involved a grip + impale in the Death Star beam, with the saber flying back seconds before activation. I've also had a regular saber throw take out 2 stormtroopers, before catching it and performing a X+A saber combo. The Y+B combo slam + grip before the enemy lands is another way to open up the chain. From here you can impale, slam & stab, or grenade the dead enemy. If you stab you can grip again if you act fast enough. A few times I've done all of these and ended it with throwing the body into explosive crates, into the death star laser, and out a window. I've also slamed crates down on the body, and once I vaporized it with the laser in the TIE facility. Some really hardcore stuff. Another thing I like to do is grip + impale/lightning + slam down at my feet + stab on the ground. What other combos do you guys have that go beyond the standard chains?
