  1. Oh yeah... Warp drive takes you thousands of times faster than light where hyperdrive is messed up because their tiny galaxy should into the space of a solar system or something. They are incompatible to compare one against the other.

My favorite ST ship is the Defiant. It takes the best of SW fighting with ST technology. A few quantum torpedoes would take out a star destroyer I'll bet. SW wins out for the characters and the fantasy aspect to me. ST is much more 'realistic' in my mind.

  2. People don't really get something significant to their lives:

Knowing what's the problem is only the first step to solving it. Anyone can know that there is an issue, but they stop there and hope it'll go away. NO! The whole point is that you must act upon what you know, or recognition is irrelevant.

We can't expect psychologists to solve our problems for us. They can only inform you of what you don't already know and make suggestions, but it's up to patients to act upon their advice. The improvement comes OUTSIDE a classroom, dentist, psychology sessions, ect.

  3. I just thought of something I would like to do for you, but should know if it'll be taken as an insult or a compliment before I act on it.

I have recently made a request for Huntress to not be lost to the mists of history. What if...?

  4. I had a similar incident recently. A guy just started talking and I assumed he was just some guy off the street, but he had a master's in Financial Economics. I thought I knew how to argue macro economics, but this guy outflanked me and tried more to convince me my future was going to be bleak. I tried to reassure him, but I really had no chance because he covered everything I was and more.

I was just trying to assure him that the future was not going to end up in disaster, but he took both sides of the argument... I didn't know what to think after that. My point is that I've tried to make people aware of the dangers of the future so they would WANT to change for the best. Problem is psychology of humans in a group distorts logic.

    Any comments or problems?

Just knowing there's someone out there to talk to at least keeps me from feeling *truly* alone. I value that we can speak back and forth on a regular basis. Where are you in KOTOR II?

  5. I'm thinking I'll divide the story into two sections. Prior to Exile covers everything before the war and the other will be the war itself. I wish that I could rearrange chapters w/out people's posts getting in the way like fanfiction.

Bao would make an early appearance and late departure in the second part. I intended a romance because I was inspired by your version so much. At the end... after Malachor V, Bao talks about his lost arm making things more difficult for him to repair even simple things. That leaves Alexandra realizing the impact of losing the force even more that she's even a crippled human.

Why help people if they don't recognize you? The point is not to catch them a fish, but teach them to fish for themselves. Understand what I just said?

  6. I intend to have the story go through to Malachor V and after. Guess who'll be in the story? I already know the first scene Bao and she will meet.

I know I've not done much war, but think I'll do better if it's for a long period of time with friends around dying and changing with time. It'll focus more on external characters than Alexandra and fighting.

I think that you're naturally a 'jedi-like' morally, but you won't help others if they don't take your help or ignore you. Would that sound accurate? You're not preachy... at least not that I've read.

  7. My Exile is always female and named Alexandra Xanatos.

Well if I could just ask another moment,(okay more than that) Could you look at the thread I just posted on CEC 'Descending into Revan's Shadow' and look at the last quarter of the first post? I have the final chapter for PTE written and wonder what you think.

I have, at her trial, that she refuses to give up her lightsabers and Kavar (breaking the storyline) speaks to her privately to try and assure her not to be afraid of being sent into exile. I just wonder if I got her character right for that last moment of the story. It's just the last quarter of the post I'm interested in knowing about. Thanks for considering it.

  8. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up. That's why I favor the computer over the the game 'council' (is that the right spelling?)

I will check on that soon and leave you some feedback. Guess what I'll say!

You... Bastila... how? How much did you drink?! I would have imagined you'd have passed out first.

  9. I rarely laugh out loud at what I read, but you made me do the impossible with that last comment! Bastila, now that's just rich! If that's not motivation enough...

I agree with serious things that aren't recognized as I think they should. What poem was it?

The savegame editor can let you adjust almost every aspect of the game from influence, class, inventory, feats, ect. I'll see where you find it.

  10. I would opt for KOTOR II. Do you use the game editor?

  11. I just got one of those MAJOR NITPICKS in fanfiction just now. I have finally gotten feedback for PTE in that site and it was a complaint in spelling NAMES!

    sfaskhgfngkjadghj;kdfjg;ldjglfkad;lgjalk;jgl!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and by the way, I hope that you noticed that I've started taking after you for writing long sentences like I used to complain about. Take it as a compliment to how much I like your style. Such talent... lost to psychology. lol

How bad is the wrist? Was it almost fully recovered, or was it still painful before that?

  12. KOTOR II is my favorite, despite character development. Which do you want? Good quality or good gameplay?

I actually do make the same spelling mistakes for names, but it's consistent all the way through in stead of 'padewan' going to 'padawan' Is that worth a complaint?

  13. That's what I love about you... you know how to lift my confidence without just saying something that has no bearing on reality. Thanks for the compliments.

I have been good at grammar for most of my life... had some good English teachers. And I HATE people who complain (Couruscant - Coruscant, Dantoine - Dantooine, Yuchanis - Yusanis) Who care?! They are names... they understood... why do I care?

Your comments on past/present tense WAS significant and I'm still dealing with it in my revision. Thanks.

  14. I appreciate getting your feedbacks. It makes life a little better knowing I have at least a few who would read almost anything I post... not like I post things that are not worth reading, do I?

I look forward to QFR and hope that you haven't lost everything you had not saved.

  15. I don't really know if you appreciate people viewing your public visitor messages, but I also am a Star Trek fan and thought of the ST/SW who would win question. SW has thousands of ships much more significant in size than in the Federation/Klingon/Romulan fleets, but these small ships are much more powerful for their size. Not to mention that the technologies seem much more advanced. ST would win out hands down.

Any thoughts, or should I shut up now?

  16. Just ten more you need.

Feedback on my stories would allow you to get a few more right off the back.

    How's life today?

  17. Yeah... lovely!

I'll let you get to sleep. I suppose you're just reading a lot of my materials, is that it?

    Good night.

  18. How is HOP today?

What do you think of that guy with the TINY five paragraph story getting 12 feedbacks?! I would love to make a comment, but don't want to feed the fire, so I'm complaining here.

    How's your health today?

  19. I just posted a new thread, but I'll bet it will be the best story yet with NO feedbacks of any kind.

That other guy is getting LOTS more and I want to burn those who are just lazy.

  20. I got only one response from SiD (two posts by same guy) and now I'm really starting to think that no one really cares anymore. I really want to do it, but if it's getting bad, then I should try... for instance... poetry. lol

Anyway, I'm going to start a new thread and rename the new fiction something more poetic and catching.

  21. The reason for all those comments is because of the outrageous bunch of garbage he wrote. Those are really negative comments I'll bet.

They need a feedback rating or something. How many stories would there be then?

  22. Hi there.

I just did the Exile's trial for Prior to Exile and would like to know what you think... that is if you wouldn't mind.

Anything else causing pain in your life?

  23. Have you seen that commanderQ 'story'? It is the stupidest thing I've ever encountered because it's only two paragraphs and got 10 replies. I've done two full chapters from 'Prior to Exile' and got NOTHING! I think that, considering the time invested, that someone could spend a minute to leave feedback.

You're likely going to figure out what I'm not saying, so I'll just make it explicit: Is it really that bad?

  24. Well I hope that I catch you before you drop offline.

I understand why drinking would be difficult to drop. I know how great it feels to have stress and know it will help you escape. There is no problem with downing that in large quantities if you're willing to live with the consequences.

  25. Deviantart dropped, so...

I guess that I'm just not used to having to worry about money, but now that we're in a depression... I'm not used to feeling that I HAVE to be thrifty when I used to CHOOSE it.

It's odd that I tried preparing for a major depression, but now that it's hitting, I just hate it all. The US is getting what it deserves, but it could have spared the fate of so many others.

I think I'll just stop here with all the depressing subjects... it's very depressing.

Is there anything that has made life seem a little better for you?
