  1. Will do. I'll also notify you about anything else in that thread that concerns indigo children, as well. :p

  2. I think Saudi Arabia was the kicker; bringing an Islamic element into a debate, and being right, automatically kills the argument like a frying pan to an Australopithecus. :roll1:

  3. Well, you all been huntin' black folks for so long, we just wanted to see what it felt like huntin' white folks.

  4. Having fun with Garfield? :xp:

  5. He was originally from the Team Gizka's TSLRP forum. For dozens of pages in the Politics thread, he spewed out the same stuff that he's posted here. About a week ago, he was banned from the forum when he attacked the admin on her views, and for also not providing any real facts, changing the subject constantly, yadda, yadda, yadda. Naturally, he migrated here after his execution. I wonder how long until he's banned here? :anvil:

  6. Yeah, I feel the same; light and shadow placement is essential in horror games.

System Shock 2 is probably one of the few games which nailed scifi-horror, especially with a brilliant ambient sound system. Avellone must have a been a fan; whole plot and narrative elements in the SS series were copied nearly verbatim in Peragus.

  7. Yes, we had lots of "fun" indeed. santsmil

  8. You have won at Kavar's. :thmbup1:

Can't wait to see his response to that. :xp:

  9. You're back! :D

Now you can help combat fallacies committed by our newly returned curmudgeon in Kavar's!

  10. Why have we not befriended each other yet? 'Tis absurd!

  11. It's actually a mod for Dark Forces that replaces Kyle's clean shaven face with that burly beard he sported in later games. Unfortunately, I don't remember where I got the mod from, but the actual picture is from Wookiepedia. He looks much more masculine with his beard of power, no? :D

  12. Just this month. :p

I'm satisfied with this one, as of now, though. :)

  13. No, I haven't. It too was relatively vacant from a comprehensive release, so I'll probably see it on DVD in the near-future. No Country For Old Men's adaption was very, very good, however. :)

  14. I thought that you should have at least some sort of company around here. :D

  15. The first game has been reduced to abandonware, so it is available here. You'll most likely need DOSBox to run it, though. The first thing that you'll notice about SS1 is a certain "Citadel Station". :p

SS2, on the other hand, is ridiculously hard to find, and is selling for astronomical prices on eBay and Amazon. As much as I hate to resort to it when it comes to products of such calibre as with SS2, I'm afraid that you'll have to "get" SS2. ;)

  16. Then my work here is done.

  17. It's the Master Control Program (MCP) from the 80's Disney film Tron. It was one of the first films to use computer animation.

  18. I blame it on tk. He must have messed with something. :p

  19. Does he look like a bitch?

  20. I see that you've made a new friend in Kavar's. :haw:

  21. Mm... hopefully. We shall see...
