  1. I found it in a thrift store. The previous owner seems to have cut up the sleeve so it would fit in a jewel case, but I don't care.
  2. Ten for Loom sounds good. How do you want to do the money?
  3. Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, I didn't realize that DOTT was the floppy edition. I'm holding out for the talkie. I'd still like Loom, though.
  4. How much are you selling Loom and DOTT for? I think those are the only two Lucas adventures I don't have.
  5. Haha, no, I'm not returning fom a nearly six-month posting hiatus just to advertise my unrelated creations, nor am I taking advantage of the devout followers of the holy adventure games just so I can get my band's name out there. I'm just... Look! A three headed monkey! Nope, thought I saw one. Oh well. Anyway, here's an album. It's good. You should go listen to it.
  6. Sorry I haven't been here for a while. I've been a bit busy. Anyway, if it still could help, here are the .band files for the main theme and LeChuck's hold. The numbers on the track names are because I'm using one soundfont for every instrument except for percussion, and when you close the file and re-open it reverts to instrument 0, so you have to go to each track and punch in the respective number on your keyboard so you don't have an army of pianos.
  7. I've already done a few tracks in Garageband, but I don't think it can export MIDI files. If it can, I would love to know how. Anyway, I haven't posted LeChuck's Hold here yet, so here it is.
  8. Oh wow, that's cool. I can just imagine Ben Whatsisname coming up right behind them.
  9. I did these in Garageband, so they're MP3 files, not MIDI, but I hope they'll work. I actually started doing this quite a while ago, when the call first went out for music, but I forgot about it until now, so I just decided to finish them. Opening https://sites.google.com/site/aububuh/stuff/CMI-OpeningSolo.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1 Theme https://sites.google.com/site/aububuh/stuff/CMI-Theme.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1
  10. I chose the music men, because every song from MI2 and Devil's Playhouse have been stuck in my head for months.
  11. Good timing for you to post this just now, because I just recently beat the Giant Claw Armed Tank Of Death level for the first time ever, after years of owning the game. Then I beat it again because I actually find it kind of fun, now that it's not haunting my gaming nightmares.
  12. I figured out the problem. I had previously extracted some other stuff from the source files, and the .pak file was extracted to standard folders, and I had a .pak named Copy of Monkey1.pak. I just renamed this to Monkey1.pak, and it worked just fine. At least, it's something like that.
  13. I also forgot to mention that I've run the setup 3 times now, and it always produces the same results. The first time with the last version, the other two with this one. Anyway, the contents of the folder MI1_CD_Talkie_Version are: readme (text) monster.sou ADLIB.IMS gmidi.ims monkey.exe ROL_330.IMS ROL_332.IMS ROL_334.IMS ROL_336.IMS SPEAKER.IMS cd_music (folder) se_music (folder) I hope this helps.
  14. I'm having a problem, and I can't get it to run properly. I downloaded the patch, followed the instructions, finished the program, then tried to run the game with ScummVm. I opened the game folder as usual, and it said "ScummVm could not find any game in specified directory." I looked at the game folder, and saw that it was missing the monkey1.000 and monkey1.001 files, and that was probably the problem. Just to try it, I copied the files from my normal CD copy of MI1 into the talkie folder, then running ScummVm, but of course that made the game just play without the patch. Could you help me with this? I really want to get it to work.
  15. Thanks! Weirdly enough, it's also the birthday of a friend of mine, and is the day after another friend's. Small world.
  16. I'm currently working on some music for the demo. I've started with the theme song, but if you'd rather I wait to finish that and work on the room music, I could do that instead. I just figured I could start with the theme because I already know it pretty well, and can finish it fairly quickly, but I could switch to doing the music in the opening scene, and get back to the theme later. What do you think I should do first?
  17. August 30th, that's the day after my birthday! Cool! As for the next season hint, Threepwood4life, that's a good theory, and I'm sure we'll find out pretty soon.
  18. That depends. What's the game, and who's offering the download? If it's being offered by the developers or the publishers, then that's fine, but if not, then it's probably illegal, and we don't want that here.
  19. I bought the complete collection last time it was on sale for $50, and that seemed like a really good deal then, but I guess they really want people to play these games. I mean, 40 bucks. That's five dollars more than each season was when they first came out. As for episode 5, I didn't really expect it to come out in August, considering there's no set release date yet. It's usually revealed a couple of weeks beforehand, and there's not a couple of weeks left in August. I can't wait for when they do release it, and I hope they announce the date soon.
  20. I think I've seen that tutorial before. I never could figure it out. Oh well, I've never really been good at that kind of stuff anyway.
  21. Then we wait for the first custom playable Guybrush.
