  1. Please don't turn this into a series of accusational posts and a bunch of "You're Wrong"s.....I am just merely asking questions and looking for answers to those questions. "Kavar's Corner: A place for friendly discussion of serious topics."
  2. Hah. I am not the president, or any other politician for that matter! XD
  3. I am a Democrat (and yes, there are many flaws within our party, as well as the Republicans'), but I also find it very strange that the Republican party is considered a racist party. If I'm not mistaken, there are several African-American politicians holding very high positions in the Republican party. On the other hand, many, many people's political views are based off of what TV political stations say. NBC calls the Republican party racist because they claim that the Republicans said that they are "shocked" that so many white voters cast their vote for Obama. It is a sad thing when I see people in my school base their political views based on what Fox, NBC, CNN, and others say. People should form their opinions on the Presidential candidates based on what they believe in, not what others (their parents, or news stations) believe in. For example, conservatives that regularly watch Fox claim that Obama is a socialist/communist, he wasn't born in the U.S., or that he is a Muslim because his middle name is Hussein. On the other hand, Democrats who regularly watch NBC claim that that Romney, Ryan, and the rest of the Republican party are racist. It both confuses me and intrigues me to no end.
  4. My five point plan: 1.) Keep abortion legal. I don't believe abortion should be made illegal. This would be very inconvenient for the women who are raped and those with SERIOUS health concerns. One senator (can't remember for the life of me) even went as far as to say: "Being impregnated, no matter which method in which it occurs, is god's will." Another more unusual comment, in my opinion, was: "The body of a woman has the ability to keep the sperm from creating an infant once it enters the body" which is why i believe he lost his senator position in one of the states in one of the Michigan/Cleveland/Indiana/Illinois areas. I feel that the woman should make her own decision, and then live with the consequences no matter what they may be. 2.) Tell Bill O'Reilly to stop calling the whites in America now the minority. I know that the Republican party holds no REAL power over the Fox News Network (which is a republican station), but America is still two-thirds white (66%), so they could ask him to tone it down. 3.) Bring production back to America along with energy independence, and stop exporting jobs to China and other places. Governor Romney is a big fan of this, though he denies it. 4.) Reconsider beliefs on the right to bear arms without registration (do I have to list the reasons and consequences?). 5.) Keep gay marriage legal. Most versions of the bible state that gay marriage is intolerable/wrong/etc. Romney wanted to make gay marriage illegal. I don't know about what others here think, but it sounds to me like he's trying to impose his religion on the country, whether he is doing it on purpose or not.
  5. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) *sigh* What would I do without collegehumor?
  6. I voted for a lot of the choices, as you can obviously see, but my two favorites are Three Musketeers and Whoppers
  7. What is your favorite candy? I apologize for not being able to include everyone's preference, but these are apparently the top twenty preferred candies in America. So, what is your favorite candy?
  8. Hah. I'm literally still laughing! Also, why is your location Amerikhastan? I commend you for your clever play on words *chuckles*, but why?
  9. I don't think LucasFilms controls game production. I believe it's LucasArts? Regardless, it would be awesome if 'Arts went back to the style of their early 2000s games. Personally, I don't like the most recent Lego Star Wars video games. What if, and this is a BIG if, this could be the introduction of a new trilogy (7,8, and then 9)?! Three more movies. Another added trilogy. 9 movies, three trilogies. Three trilogies. Three trilogies. "Star Wars: A Trilogy of Trilogies". Trilogyception.
  10. ........Even though that Disney made all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (the most recent one was fantastic in my opinion), Iron man 2, Iron Man 3, Thor, Captain America, and the Avengers, I hope that it will not turn out like that. If they make it animated, I won't drink ethanol; I will simply give up on a major part of my life.
  11. If you've ever watched "Oppa Gangnam Style", whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or neither, I believe you will find this video pretty hilarious. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) I don't understand. What caused the man to say "Sweet Jesus"? And why did the woman turn the whole thing akward? I'm sure that if I understood it then I would find it funny. Can you explain what is going on/what happened?
  12. I edited my mistake before you replied to my comment. As you can see, it says *like* this blog. I saw where my mistake was. You must have read my post right as I was editing it, I guess. EDIT Yep, that's what happened. You can see that you replied four minutes after I edited it (during which I assume you were creating/typing your post). @90 SK: Do you believe that the end of the Mayan Calendar is true?
  13. Same, though I didn't laugh. This, to me, seems like a blog for REALLY religious people. I don't mean to pry, but she became borderline insane just by reading a blog like this one? (I don't know what's on the blog, for I didn't look through the content.) @90 SK: "It's the best blog I've ever seen." It could be, but the best blogs that people have ever seen depend on taste. Maybe that's why people here have fairly negative reactions towards it (PLEASE don't think that I am trying to be an a**).
  14. Same. Much of my homework that my teachers assign me is an online document that I am required to read. Since I wear glasses, my eyes start to hurt after rather long periods of time of staring blankly at my computer screen (can't read w/o glasses because I am nearsighted and desktop screen on monitor is pretty far considering how bad my eyesight is). If I am assigned something to read online, then I only read it online if all other methods to get my hands on the actual book fails. I am very happy when I am assigned an actual book to read from. It makes it much easier.
  15. Like you said, I like to experience the actual physicality of the book in my hands (I'm a pleasure reader). I tried reading on a Kindle before, and it just didn't cut it.
  16. EDIT This is as well a parody of a political candidate: Barack Obama. Enjoy. If anyone finds this offensive then please let me know. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) If you are unable to view it on this thread then here's the link to the funny YouTube video.
  17. I'm sorry if I offend any Republicans or any other avid followers of politics with this video, but I thought this video to be very humorous when I viewed it and, like the previous meme, I thought that it was too funny not to be posted in this thread. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
  18. Two of the greatest Pokemons ever? Do you mean the originals or the DS versions?
  19. Haha, "ORIGINAL VERSION!" Well done to the creators of the video! Who made it?
  20. Hah, you're right. It IS too good to not be posted here! XD Here, I really liked this one. Check it out.
  21. License agreements, Terms of Use, etc. have always bothered me. I always figured that when you have purchased the product, then you should be able to do whatever you want with it because you own it (excluding copying the device to make another and then get sued for copying, but that's what the patent system is for).
  22. Would anyone else buy this if this was to actually happen?
