  1. I need this thread moved: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2868920#post2868920
  2. I come here daily waiting for a reply to a problem I'm having. I also recently posted about a mod I made for Battlefront 2.
  3. I recently re-installed SWTOR, and it runs perfectly fine (albeit some lag), except that the game crashes at seemingly random intervals, anywhere from a minute to nearly an hour of gameplay, usually with no error message (when there is one, it's the common windows "failed to initialize" popup). And on other occasions, the character screen will show only my character's outfit, hair and eyes (kinda freaky lol), with no GUI. On all occasions, the game start time is about 1 minute, which seems normal considering the game's large size. I am playing the game with minimum graphics settings, at a resolution of 800x600 in windowed mode. My system specs: OS: Windows XP SP3 (yes, I know) CPU: Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.99GHz, 3 GB of RAM Screen Resolution: 1024x768 Graphics Card: ATI Radion HD 5450 I've got 8.58 GB of free space on my hard drive, out of 74.4 GB total.
  4. I'm trying to re-install SWTOR, but when I try to download the game, the program I download which is, apparently, the setup program for the setup program (Setup-ception!), just "loads" it's thing and then closes. Nothing happens afterwords. I had just uninstalled the game and didn't add anything to my computer after doing so. Last I checked, I meet all the system requirements. What could be causing the problem? Is it on my end or theirs? I would contact the devs directly but I'm not a subscriber and I cannot use my phone, they gave no instructions on how to e-mail them. I use Windows XP SP3.
  5. Sometimes when I start the game it gets to the point when the main menu is loading and then the music starts playing and then I get this error: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally. Save your work and reboot the system to restore full display functionality. The next time you reboot the machine a dialog will be displayed giving you a chance to upload data about this failure to Microsoft. ...and then, needless to say, the screen goes to minimum resolution and I have to reboot. This used to only happen with certain mods (corporate addon, clone wars v4 demo, any mod that changes the gui), but now it happens even with stock EaW and FoC. There is no apparent pattern to it. I use the gold pack DVD. My specs: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. 6. Sorry, already tried that, and i'm already on an admin account. EDIT:Never mind, it fixed itself.
  7. Yesterday (2/2/2014) I got an error C6 when loading the game. The last time I played was around 1-2 weeks before then, and it ran perfectly fine. I tried deleting DiskCatcheArea but it didn't work. Anyone else have/had this problem recently? Any suggestions?
  8. the Filefront downloads site is particularly buggy today. It's doing the invalid file id thing but no matter how many times I refresh the page it won't show up.
  9. I knew my PC couldn't handle it, but I wanted to see what the "very high" setting looked like if even only for a second, but everything just froze up and now I can't start the game (I was only expecting lag)! How can I undo this?!
