Maybe I'm just very old, but I don't really see the need to upscale or 'enhance' the textures of old games. The tech is interesting, but I'm perfectly fine with letting old games look old, it doesn't seem to be a problem that needs fixing to me.
I'm fine being able to count the pixels

You could try playing the game without the NoCD patch.
I can imagine DREAMM not being able to handle a NoCD patch well, and I'm not sure it even needs it.
You could also try having DREAMM install the game from your game CD or ISO, to make sure DREAMM copies all the necessary files over.
