I found my old TellTale account recently and couldn't understand why all my posts were about a missing 5th game. Now I get it. Sorry as well, Jake!

I was guilty of a “when will episode 2 drop” post. I now know it will release August 20, 2009. Sorry Jake and Telltale!

If we don't get a code, we'll probably just write something based on the screenshots.

But really, should we post something, we'll probably do what we've been doing over the last years -- an impression of the first two hours or so with minimal spoilers. (Then something larger a while later -- we're gonna milk this cow dry.)

I’m looking forward to the eventual (not to mention literal) secret history!

Grim Fandango is a game whose narrative and environment aged much better than its gameplay and UI, in my opinion!

I have said the same thing when it comes to Psychonauts 1 (meat circus) and Brutal Legend as well. Amazing stories and environments, but the gameplay always misses at times.

  4. That’s such a fun detail! The Legend of MI site has done such an incredible job showcasing details and Easter eggs that I never knew existed that I’ve been wanting to seek out details in the other Lucasarts games.

The only one that comes to mind right now is in Fate of Atlantis whenever Indy is in a pitch-black room, the room brightens slowly, as both Indy and the player get to adjust to the darkness.

I think I'd prefer to get a date first though so I can plan my series playthrough.

I need to plan mine out as well. I’m aiming for 2 runs back to back, one just to play and experience the game and the other to go back and explore everything in the environment.

I mean... I sort of read Thimbleweed Park as a Maniac Mansion sequel.

Thimbleweed actually made me change how I play Maniac Mansion. Previously I imprisoned or ignored Dave the full game. After talking to Sandy and him so pleasantly in Thimbleweed, I like to use him more. I pretend that he's the only character who can use the excercise machine; that gets it done!

I need to do a playthrough with Jeff, the poor guy can only fix the phone.
