  1. David Spade looks like governor Davis... Yeah, they're sorta similar, except the latter's a couple of decades older (or not?)
  2. He looks more like a jedi than a padawan Or maybe a...a...SITH!
  3. Yes. We talked about this in Spanish class today Happy Independance day, indeed
  4. I thought the physics in the game were extremely well done. If the ball was as sensitive to the touch of the raquet as in real life, we'd be shooting balls off the end of the table limitlessly. That said, to be able to shoot to the side, you have to put a little punch on the ball. More than a flick of the rist, per se. Give it a wack from far behind, and wack it in the direction you want it to go. PS. this is invaluable to being able to beat Forrest Gump
  5. My good friends, it just takes practice. First time I played Ti Hee clunked me over and over again. Now, after a little bit of patient practice he'll be lucky to get 1 point off me
  6. This game that I am about to introduce to you is one of THE best I've ever come across Table Tennis! The best I've done is Ti Hee (11-2, 11-1) Ben Scot (11-7, 11-7) Forrest Gump (11-7, 11-7) but it took me nearly 5 hours (not continuously, of course) to get that good. Link to some software needed to run this (if you don't have it already, you should) Shockwave
  7. I think he's crazy too. It's one thing to do it and it's a whole other thing to do it in the middle of town overhanging public streets. He just craves attention; atleast that's the impression I have of this feat.
  8. Was it hit-n-run? Either way, Eets, old boy. I wish your brother all the best and I hope all goes well for you and him and the rest. My thoughts with you
  9. It's likely you lack the latest version of quicktime. Get it at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/
  10. Another forum. The person at the other forum got it from another forum too. This one seems to be all over the place in recent times.
  11. True that. Given that we're all regular readers and writers of the English language, the words are probably pretty easy to us given only the first and last letters. It's probably some psychological thing that makes humans look for the first letter and just skim the rest of the word, and the fast-acting human brain probably searches through the dictionary in our head and finds all the words that could possibly have that combination of letters with that first and last letter; and since there are few words that are very alike, we can find the words quickly and read them with relative ease despite the way they are written.
  12. No, no, no. The first and last letter of each word has to be the same. The words in between can be jumbled up
  13. Yaeh! Fruhter I can udnrestnad waht you are syanig too!!
  14. That's why financial oppression for the average music listener exists no more... I kid you. Like I said, I have mixed views on this.
  15. Well, when it comes to movies, ripped games and software, I personally, think that's stretching it a little bit too much. But for music, I can't look at it badly. Like Chase mentioned, CDs are too expensive and very rarely does it so happen that every song on a CD is liked. People need, if at all, to be allowed to pay on a per-song basis. And nothing outrageous, mind you.
  16. Sorry. I didn't mean for it to turn out the way it did. Anyway, Who's the stupid looking guy in pictures008.jpg!!
  17. Rhett, we don't want a half-naked guy running around the forums Welcome back, Wolfman
  18. I agree with the general opinion on Enemy At the Gates, although I felt the ending was a tad bit rushed...Don't think I could make anything better myself, so I won't, nor will I talk about it.
  19. Well, that may be true, but I doubt it's very uncommon back home.
