  1. Aha! Never mind. I think I've got it. When I had SMI selected it only came up with that game in the .ini file, however with something else selected it came up with all the games, and guess what? On line 125 it said "sky.dsk". The culprit! Thanks for your help. I'll go back into hibernation now.
  2. I try and run it through Q+E and the DOS Prompt disappears before I can see it so I save it as a shortcut and then open that through VDMS and the whole thing says... VDMSound DOS loader, version 2.01 (Aug 04 2001) Copyright © 2000-2001 Vlad ROMASCANU. VDMSound is covered by the GNU Public License (GPL), version 2 or later, as published by the Free Software Foundation, Inc. (http://www.fsf.org/). Loading 'VDDLoader.dll'... Successfully loaded & initialized (hVDD = 0x01). Config file buggy: Invalid character '.' occured in domain name in line 125! Press any key to continue . . . I press a key and it closes which I figured would happen anyway. As for ScummVM, I can't even open it on its own anyway without the same thing happening. In that case, I guess it's ScummVM causing the problems. I hope that made sense to at least one person
  3. OK... so I uninstalled and reinstalled hoping that whatever didn't work would be fixed. Now though it says the problem is in Line 125. When I open the .ini file though, it's only 13 lines long... I'm sure it's probably something simple but it's been so long since I've done this kind of thing...
  4. Hey! I'm trying to get Monkey Island working again so I downloaded Scumm VM Q+E and the regular Scumm VM and do all the necerssary setting up and all but everytime I do it, either from my White Label 1&2 CD or from my Monkey Madness CD, both times it claims "Config file buggy: Invalid character '.' occured in domain name in line 30!" Any ideas?
  5. Did he have a ghostly tail in the film because that's all I remember him with... And how did Casper die? Was that ever mentioned?
  6. I guess you've got a point there. It a shame though
  7. Sigh. I remember the good ol' days when this forum was bursting with life. It wasn't even that long ago. I wonder what happened so quickly.
  8. Alternatively, eBay is always good for this kind of thing.
  9. Well, you don't kick oppertunity in the teeth... http://www.rollingdog.co.uk
  10. Yup, that's a picture of "The Library" in the Museum Spire
  11. Yup. Me too. That was the point in the game, right?
  12. Hey hey! Happy birthday. Enjoy all the things birthdays stand for like... umm... drinking?
  13. Maybe. But if ATM was talking to one of these people, don't you think he would've tried to get these things before?
  14. Swearing doesn't neccersarily mean it's unprofessional, just more personal. I like it.
  15. The big moon at 2 o clock and the smaller moon in between I think
  16. I especially like this part... Sweeeeeet!
  17. Yup, there's a new Yeti Sports game up which this time takes place on the questionable location of Australia... Nonetheless, check it out!
  18. See here http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=77613
  19. You have to align the moons in the place with the rat... I can't remember where that is but it's a planitarium thing with a gold and silver rod... I'll try and find you something better to explain it by...
  20. Yeah it's there too but I get more replies/ hate mail if I put it here
  21. I'm sure this is just me missing something obvious or whatever but nevertheless, I'm stuck. With all The Dig goodies going around, I decided it would be cool to play it again. I have the Archives Vol. III version of the game which runs directly off the CD (There is no option to install it). So the game works fine and all but I'd like to play it in its own window rather than fullscreen. I have Q+E but whatever directory I point it at, Q+E closes and nothing else happens. Anyone know why?
