  1. Assault should have been the main focus of multiplayer. Maybe seeing other RC squads pitted against each other while team(s) assault and team(s) defend. It would probably be easier to have a single team for each though, 32+ player games with the game might be pushing it.
  2. I think the game should have implied more options and challenges. Spoilers... Here's looking to an expansion that ties up all the loose ends. It would be nice to see some more other RC squads and possibly saving/joining a Jedi General in battle - if the engine can take it (no need for the lightsaber action, that can be cut away with disappearing acts and cinematics). But as a favour from the developers, the expansion should cost half the price of the original game.

It is likely to be at the website's discretation whether or not to host the file(s). I suggest looking for other providers/file sites (as said earlier) who are willing to provide the file. Nice work on the port though, I was just playing Halo on the PC the other day and the difference is barely unnoticeable minus a few tweaks.
  4. For the transparency to work, I believe JA uses great use of "Alpha Channels" with PNG and TGA being the two supported formats for the technique. Do a little research on alpha channels, it is used in a variety of gaming areas such as HUDs to map textures. The model is looking good so far, you can also do the Endor Poncho Luke:
  5. Does one hit kill come into effect with headshots? I've never been able to kill in a single shot unless the enemy's health is in the last quarter.
  6. PCGameMods.com does have HTML enabled for the comments section, someone could have coded a url forward for the page to "lamecards.com". Either that or it is some secret advertisement conspiracy.
  7. Boo! Hiss! I bet the ending announces a unity of Predator and Alien... so all the measly humans get to meet the maker.
  8. Plus! Activision 2005 schedule revealed: True Crime 2, Quake IV, Ultimate Spider-Man and more... Activision have announced their line-up of games for 2005 - and they've revealed a slew of new titles in the process. The biggest news is that the game based on Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be released on 5 May and, according to LucasArts president Jim Ward, will be "the WWE of Star Wars games". Like the Episode III movie, the PS2 and Xbox game focuses on the climactic fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and, according to Ward, will include "the most exciting lightsaber duels ever seen in a videogame". The third-person action-adventure will also give players the chance to make use of a range of abilities: as Anakin, players will unleash the power of the dark side in ruthless lightsaber and Force attacks while, as Obi-Wan, players will struggle to save the galaxy from darkness by focusing the power of the light side into swift and precise lightsaber attacks and using the Force to control enemy actions. A preview of the game will be available as part of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD that's being released in September. Source: gamesradar.com
  9. The wind swept passing over the lone trooper. He was surrounded, and things did not look good. The five Battle Droids cocked their guns at Seesix, who hang his head low. Just as a sharp blast scared his right fore-arm, he reached out to his side where a protruding Ion Grenade emerged. More blasts hailed down onto the ARC Trooper; jabbing, prodding and disabling him in short bursts. His final action was to throw the grenade upward into the air. Moments passed and the air grew clear once more, only mechanical parts of Battle Droids littered the ground, a pile like carpet. The trooper was no where to be seen - lost below a pile of emotionless segments of fallen machines. (Consider A-66 MIA for a time. He will either emerge or disappear in later posts, watch this space. )
  10. Hmm, add some (20%) transparency to the text. To me, it looks a little too jagged at the moment, more so like paper than icicles. Apart from that, it looks good. The edges could do with some form of border, maybe even dripping frozen icicles to add more to see.
  11. I don't usually class music, but if I had to, I would say: Alternative, which brances into a lot of genres for me.
  12. I can't access the forums. Are there any roles you are looking for in particular?
  13. I am sure you will recollect your lost posts by the creation and application of this thread.

  15. Scouting the area out with his range-finder, A-66 noticed some of the Battledroids were retreating toward the backward channel of the command bunker three-clicks from their destination. Just as he caught a moment of though, he was hit directly in the shoulder with a red blast from a positioned Super Battle Droid on an elevated position, while reflex juddered him to turn his back to the attacker, he brought out a firearm tucked on his right thigh. Three blasts of tinted cool blue echoed from the weapon and directly hit the opponent in the mechanic neck. Catching his breath, he walked on, nursing his minor fraction on his left shoulder.
  16. Predator. I remember when I first played AvP as a Marine - I got my ass owned my Predators and had my time caught up fighting Aliens. Since AvP2 I always played as Predator. I had fun using stealth cloaks and the dart gun to collect Marine's heads. Funny how no-one has voted for Alien, I wonder why?
  17. It runs clean through for me, it has only froze-up when there were bugs with one of the update servers a while back. Make sure you have enough free system resources and memory, because it can take up quite a fair bit on a full system sweep.
  18. Best wishes to you. Just remember no one leaves LF, ever! ...since I'm still here.

    Lady Valarian

That is a Whiphid. It would be nice to see a male/female model release for the species though...
  20. Not your account, the MBII team website hosting account. I hope you can get things sorted shortly. MBII is still uberlicious even without the site still standing.
  21. I wanted to play one of the generic Clone Troopers, but no loss - I'll take the step up class; ARC. Name: A-66 "Seesix" Age: Eight Class/Rank: ARC Trooper Weapon of Choice: Dual DC-15 Clone Trooper Blaster Pistols (Too much? Dual Pistols will do instead). I don't mind taking up an alternate party character (Tactical Combat Droid) as well, if needed.
