  1. How can I at least listen to the music in the origional TIE Fighter? I THINK the extension is .wrk... MK
  2. How can I get the origional music from TIE Fighter onto the Collector's Edition? The new music is VERY annoying... compared to the origional game. I seem to have lost my TIE Fighter CD, too... MK

  4. I am trying to run my TIE Fighter from my new XWing Collecter Series, but it won't let me. It says "TIE95.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program." How do I run it? MK

  7. I would much appreciate it. Everything else looks fine. And thanks for the skin, again. I also noticed you made the tags and whatnot... saves me the trouble;) After that's done, I'll either start a new thread or keep this one to help with the .veh modding (the camera's funky... I'll mess around with it, but I doubt that'll be my only question). Now to get cracking on it. <Goes off to hire a million monkeys and buy a million typewriters> MK *edit* Hmm, I was looking through the Vehicle Tutorial, and found the "specular" shading. Can this be done with JUST shaders, or is another texture necessary? If the latter, I won't bother, but if it's the former, I might give it a shot.
  8. I have it. There are just a few things I'd like to touch on. It has only one thruster, but it should have three. They're the REALLY small things surrounding the engine. How easy would it be to add those two others in and texture them? If it's too difficult, I'll just let them be, but otherwise, I'm a detail-freak. Everything else seems to be a product of the .veh file, and I'll work those out. MK

    I just downloaded your TIE Defender from pcgamemods. Not bad at all; I really like the skin job, better than your previous models. LightNinja is finishing a TIE Defender that I started. Perhaps it will rival yours. Continue to model, hatrus. It is your destiny. MK
  15. Majin Reven, do you think you could take up this project? I have been waiting for almost 2 months for some sort of request to skin and whatnot my ship, but I have not gotten one. If not you, then someone else. I just want to get this out of the way. MK
  16. I have been waiting for some time for someone to say that they would skin the Defender and .veh it. But alas, nobody wants to. So, I am digging up this thread for the purpose of asking (agian) for someone to do what is needed with it. MK

  19. All right, I know I can do no more. I now want to send it to someone skilled who will skin it and make it into a vehicle. Does anyone care to do so? MK
  20. All right, I have the engine part done, and I have taken it as far as I think that I can: The six boxes coming out of the thrusters need to be cut somewhat at the top, but I don't know how. I need to send it to someone who will fine tune it, skin it, and turn it into a vehicle. Hopefully someone with good skills. It will have six slightly underpowered lasers, two per wing, two torp launchers just below the cockpit, and shields, and will be fast and maneuverable. It's downside will be that it's lasers aren't up to par, even with six of them. It's hit points are also less that others. If you are interested, please post here or PM me. Thanks! MK

  22. Okay, never mind, I have it installed... and not working. When I export the .map file as a .md3, it gives me a "No UV mapping was found on this object. Writing out the texture coordinates of a spherical mapping for each vertex," error. It doesn't make any sense, so what does it mean and out do I make it take a hike? MK
  23. How do you get that? It says something about Quake3, but I don't know what that is... is it a mod for JO/JA? MK
