  1. I've started this poll also at tac's bs:tsd forum: http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/tac/forums/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=brokensword&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o= Make em notice us!
  2. A low end Radeon 9600 with DX9 is under £100 now, make yourself ready for hl2 Regarding the BS3 THQ site, I've already figured out code 3 & 4 for the comp.
  3. (Yes it is last years logo) Revolution will once again be talking at York's Annual Creative Festival 'Sight Sonic' They will be talking on the 16th of October. I will be there and I'm sure a few other hard core rev peeps will be. Anyone who wants to meetup for ags or rev sake be heard, and if anyone wants any questions put directly to Cecil's face, just post em here. http://www.visityork.org/sightsonic2003 "17:30 - 18:30 Revolution Software York-based Revolution Software is one of the most successful developers of narrative-driven adventure games in the world. Its latest video game, Broken Sword – The Sleeping Dragon, has cost two million pounds to develop and is due to release shortly on PC, PlayStation2 and Xbox. The talk will explain how the team have combined classical art techniques, cutting-edge technology, cinematography, and interactive audio to create an epic video game aimed at a truly mass market. This will be the first time that the game has been publicly shown :: City Screen "
  4. I'm gonna have to correct you unfortuanly, in the first bs that wasn't actually the Broken Sword, apparently it's gonna be revealed in the sleeping dragon according to Charles. I think the basic point is that the Sword de Baphomet in the original was an icon, and is regually refered as them worshipping the icon. But we'll see what it really is.
  5. Well TheAdventureCompany have released their box, which one do you prefer? Honestly I prefer the THQ one, it looks interestering and I think using ingame graphics on an adventure title doesn't work very well. The THQ one is artistic, I love the outlines of the castle, horse, people and paris. The only real bad bit is Nico, she looks like she has come from The league of gentlemen. Otherwise I think it's quite cool now. The AdventureCompany one seems a bit too canny.
  6. Don't be a wanker, use an anchor. In the SIM Genre being naughty was the best when in Sim Copter I blew up and entire street. There were huge buildings until I blew them all up, left nothing but rubble.
  7. *Runs around screaming. I did look at the subscription price of MCV, £150. *Keeps running
  8. I was looking into buying the game, but I am being wary to get an english version. Anyone knows anywhere in the US who have released it and will ship to the UK?
  9. thanks guys, I did a search and also found it on gamershell. Playing the demo the music was a little choppy and I'm guessing the voice & full sfx wern't implemented. Anyone else have choppy music & is the music the same all the way through a scene like in the demo.
  10. Check out this: http://mahnkiman.tweekmonster.org/stuff/TheLegoTreasureHunt.swf Great little simple game, play it at least to hear the voices!
  11. I've downloaded the runaway demo, however I get the company logos, the title 2 - (whatever the text was) that goes and then some music plays. GFX wise I'm running a radeon 9800.
  12. Revolution don't like it either, apparently they are putting their views forward to thq but at the end of the day it's all up to thq. Work in progress let's say.
  13. Look at the poster on nico's wall, kinda looks like the Voynich that bs3 is based on : http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/8389/voygal1.htm http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/voynich.html
  14. An in-depth bs3 gc feature can now be found over at <a href="http://www.adventurecorner.de" target="_blank">adventurecorner.de</a> <P>The feature includes some brand new screenshots and the german boxart Currently there seems to be an error getting other screenshots but I'm sure they will be working soon. Anyway drool over these: <a href="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/nicostreet.png" target="_blank"> <img src="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/nicostreetsmall.jpg" border="0"></a><a href="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/cover.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/coversmall.jpg" border="0"></a> <P>BS:TSD has received already quite a nice media boost from thq. <a href="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/stairs.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.theneb.co.uk/ss/gc/stairssmall.jpg" border="0"></a><a href="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/poster.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://ss.theneb.co.uk/gc/postersmall.jpg" border="0"></a> <P>More information and screenshots for: <a href="http://adventurecorner.adventureserver.de/szene/previews/bf3/" target="_blank">German Readers</a> <a href="http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?tt=url&url=http%3A%2F%2Fadventurecorner.adventureserver.de%2Fszene%2Fpreviews%2Fbf3%2F&lp=de_en" target="_blank">English Readers</a> <a href="http://babelfish.altavista.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://a12.g.akamai.net/7/12/282/14/av.com/static/i/bf/fishleft.gif" border="0"></a>
