  1. I'm sitting here at home, playing World of Warcraft. I've taken care of all my adult responsibilities, so I'm just gonna be fat, order pizza, and play video games all weekend.
  2. I'm scared for the end of our corner of the internet. It's been so cozy here. But this coming year will be better than last. There is nothing that can compare to last year. I'm certain of it.
  3. Yeah, Poe says it in the movie. Quick line, easy to miss. :/
  4. Now that we've all seen it.... **EDIT** Except Zommie. Poor Rabbit.... Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Some believe, as well as I, that Leader Snoke is very likely Darth Plagueis, referenced by Sidious/Palpatine in Eps. III, given his apparent injuries. Plagueis is the Sith Lord who trained Darth Sidious and could very likely cheat death itself. It is very possible that Plagueis faked his death so if **** went sideways, he could.... well, return. In the old, now non-cannon novel, Plagueis was killed by Sidious, supposedly, right before he was elected Chancellor of the Senate/Republic in Episode I. Also; Rey is likely Luke's daughter. I agree that the pacing was really quick in the third act of the movie. Some more exposition, however slight, on the state of the Republic, Galaxy, Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) a bit more emphasis on the destruction on the Hosnian system where the Senate of the Republic was could have been done. I did enjoy the very first line of the movie.... "This will begin to make things right..." Personally, I think it did it's job. It reinvigorated the fan base and made me excited for more. Also; Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) When Rey first took the Falcon up on Jakku, did anyone else cringe when she dragged the ol' girl into the sand and accidentily rammed that sign? That was hard to watch the ol' bucket get tossed around like that. I almost yelled "STOP DOING THAT"
  5. K_K: have you considered professional Curling? I'm sure you have, but it seems that you're good at sliding stones across ice.
  6. Goood.... Goood! Give in to your aggressive feelings. Let the hate flow through you.....
  7. Deadpool started strong, but Fett won it all with that last bar.
  8. It's good. It felt like a swan song to the OT, and given the course of the movie, I can dig that vibe and live with it. The new cast really did well. I was impressed by all of them. It was... very fast paced though. The OT definitely was a bit slower. Also: BB-8 is the most awesome droid ever.
  9. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) This apparently is going to be a thing.
  10. That's.... encouraging. I guess. Still trying to temper my expectations.
  11. This is what has essentially been born in the 21st century. The 24 hour news cycle changed things, and with Fox News, worked very hard to bring in a certain viewer base, creating an echo chamber for those who didn't agree with the other news outlets. And now we have the internet. You can isolate yourself, but your own volition, into an echo chamber so impenetrable that nothing can change your mind. It's kinda sad. The progress we've made to make communication easier, has, in a way, started to make it harder.
  12. Spam bots have officially invaded this part of the forums. Sad. :/
