The June 2010 package is still the newest one, I think.

Just make a new folder on your desktop and extract it to there when directed to, then go into the folder and run the executable. You can then delete the folder and the even package if you want to. Otherwise save it somewhere in case you have to reinstall Windows.

the Windows 7 KotOR fix specifies starting with a DirectX patch to v. 10 in order to back capture the 9.0c needed for the game. Since those instructions were written so long ago I just want to confirm that the linked to patch still works even with DirectX 11 installed. Also, it prompts me for an install location--where should it go? Cheers. Heading back to the 14 pages to see if this has been covered yet. Have already had to hack the install to overcome the disc 4 error, am now on the blank screen/cursor issue.
