  1. Any code changes are impossible with single player. As for OJP. Thats Razor's baby and quite a few people like the direction its headed. As for not liking MP. I'm sorry. Your missing out on a wonderful experiance. May I suggest http://www.moviebattles.com OJP's sister project.
  2. Sounds good to me. Make it so! Right now without holster stuff being an entity people can effect (ie just visual) I see no reason why the server needs the information.

    Definately NOT the same thing. You have to have a very good idea of the motion types this thing is capable of. Frankly I'd be surprised if the TMU thing had any type of complex movement without a good coder on the team.

But the animation xsi does.   6. You'd do it as an npc so you don't have to do anything as far as initializing animations. I'm fairly sure he used the driod that gets attached to the x-wing as an example.
  7. According to Unique it may be possible to attach it to the player as an npc. I have no idea how feasible that is though.
  8. Yes it could. But it'd be benificial to create new anims for it to suit that theme. As far as progress, not anytime soon. The concept is sound but no one is working on it.

    The newest version of carcass has a pause whenever there is an error. But that is it.

    you don't double click on the program itself. you open up a seperate command-line try going to start|programs|Accessories|Command Prompt. That should open a new window to a command prompt. Should be similar to what it says. This is a DOS prompt. Revel in all its glory kids. or whatever the directory is where both the carcass and the model.car is. Is the command its looking for. type dir to list the directory contents if needed. And that concludes your DOS lesson. Normally I'd just point and laugh at the fact that you can do such a complicated thing as modelling and animating, but not once have used a DOS prompt. Windows has made you all weak.

    Assimilate tells me nothing about what the actual problem is. Its peice of crap program. Write your own car files. You'll learn a thing or two.

    Yep would help you but would need to know that exact error. start|run|type cmd, then enter That will be your command prompt type-> cd C:\Program Files\blah\blah\blah to where ever your have carcass installed. type-> carcass model.car Tell us the error. also include the contents of the model.car
  13. Nope, Duncan is your man. I did do the Acklay, and Psyko's walker, as well as tons of Humanoid anims. And Super battle Droid Anims!
  14. Nope, Raven only needed an open and close for the x-wing. One for landing and one for taking off. I'm sure something (code-wsie) could be setup for actual flying though.
  15. You need to familiarize yourself with the http://www.moviebattles.com class system. It is nothing like ForceMod 3. Very balanced gameplay. Based off OJP code. Coded by Renegade, and is what this class system would be based on.

    Persistance payed off. And if I would have known you mirrored the bones I would have slapped you. Still you got that done quicker than it took me to get the humanoid skeleton set up.

    Idle, and sure I'll take a look at the max file to see if I can get it to compile. keshire_the_chaotic@hotmail.com some of the animal vehicle enums. BOTH_VT_AIR running off a cliff I beleive. (don't need) BOTH_VT_ATB landing atfer the cliff run. (don't need) BOTH_VT_MOUNT the various positions you can mount from. (can be the same as buck if there's not too much motion. You also don't need the turbo. But hey if its already done. If you don't use an enum. Then the creature won't do the action.

    I'm not quite certain what causes that. But the old JO version of carcass should ignore that error for the most part. I think it may have something to do with the motion bone and hierarchy though.

    For animal vehicles. You only have a few options for anims. Idle Walk Run Death Buck And interpolation is your friend. Keyframing is fairly simple once you get the hang of it. make sure frame zero is a base pose. Start your animation at frame 1. And that goes for every anim you do. And do them seperately. each anim export as a new xsi. Use the humnaoid.car that come sin the model tools to see hwo to compile them all together,
  20. I don't concur. Psyko is pretty good about getting models out. Witness, Durge and Ventress (both weighted by Psyko).
  21. Its good to see people contributing to the community. I'd recommend passing that along to OJP also.
  22. Also if I may say. OJP is primarily a coding platform available for all mod makers. If the support isn't there then it is in essence a failure. Much like Nix would be if it didn't have the support from its community of coders.
  23. Well if it's to be different from MB, I'd just try and drop the seige implimentation. And base it on Team FFA. AS a seperate gametype. Called TFFA - Class based. From there you can drop in your finally balanced MB classes.
  24. Even arguements can bring about a good discussion. Which is what all this is about. A lot of people owe you at least gratitude Razor. And unlike you I'll force the issue.
