  1. Long time no see. Anyone else playing the EMU?
  2. ya I saw that on the official forums, I'm going to try and stick with it for awhile, seeing how this is my first New Garbage Experience play time, not to mention I play much less then I did pre-nge or pre-cu, what usually happened was I'd play so much I'd get bored and find myself standing around rping alot or just talking in guild chat, so I quit twice, or took two "breaks" I guess it is. Hopefully they keep with a good direction to the game, it's not like it used to be, but it's getting better then when the NGE first hit. I feel so bad for quitting pre-cu now though, damn I miss those days.
  3. these are the availible professions: - Jedi - Bounty Hunter - Smuggler - Spy - Officer - Commando - Medic - Trader (Domestic Goods) - Trader (Engineering) - Trader (Munitions) - Trader (Structures) - Entertainer You can only be one of these at once, as well as one of these... - Imperial Navy Pilot - Rebel Pilot - Freelance Pilot Also everyone is a politician. There used to be 32 professions that people could be, you had 250 skill points and each box in a profession took so many up, you could mix professions and master 2-3 at once. That is all long gone though.
  4. If there are good quests to do, it's the quickest way. Killing creatures works though.
  5. Which part were you on? Who did you get your last quest from?
  6. hit shift + c That will target the closest station and communicate with them. Also if you need to find a station hit n to bring up your map, then find one on there and make a waypoint for it.
  7. As of Tuesday, the quest is working now, go talk to Commander Barrez and get the waypoint for the Valarian Haul again, you can now complete it.
  8. I wished ALL professions had inate armor of 4000 without going into expertise, would make roleplay and such much better. Then through expertise for some professions(like smuggler) that innate armor will turn into overridable armor when you equip armor. For other professions it will be cancelled out by the armor they equip.
  9. To be effective you need a Jedi Knight Robe/Cloak(robe is better) minimum, to be good you need a Jedi Master Cloak, and to be great you need an elder robe.
  10. are you high enough level to use a lightsaber yet? If not then you can't tune crystals untill then.
  11. 1. You right click on the crystal in your inventroy and select "tune", it will then prompt you if you want to do it or not. 2. Kenobi's Legacy: Elder Jedi gift only, which means you had to of grinded Jedi pre-nge to obtain it. B'nars Sacrifice: Again, elder Jedi gift only, which means you had to of grinded Jedi pre-nge to obtain it. Sunrider's Destiny: Old quest reward from the force sensitive village, since that way of obtaining Jedi was removed, it is no longer obtainible either. The only "special" crystal that I know of which any Jedi can get is Bane's Heart, which drops from NK-Necrosis on Kashyyyk.
  12. No such thing as a challenge in groups anymore, the days of 20+ people all together in the DWB are long gone. You can do everything with a smaller group now and easily do anything with a full group.
  13. They haven't decided on any of that yet, they probably won't even do it, they may leave it up to individual servers to implement jedi or not. At the current patch they are using(past publish 9 atleast), the Jedi system in place was the force village, but because of the time(or lack there of) required to unlock in this sytem they may not use it or change it. Even before they put this in, perma-death was gone and you just had skill loss. I'm pretty sure though they will scale attaining jedi to the power of them. The stronger they are, the harder it will be to obtain it. Back in the day I have seen 1 jedi strike through 10 people in Coronet before having to flee, after the village jedi became more common and weaker, it was better when it was dangerous to level but when you got there you were a true alpha-class.
