  1. I personally think it's great that the PC is getting a lot of attention. Recently, many people felt that the PC was losing its' battle against consoles and was going to die for all gaming, but with new games with PC specific features, attention has once again shifted (not to say the Gamecube or PS2 or Xbox arent good), I'm just glad that Lucasarts is still trying hard to keep their ORIGINAL CONSOLE alive and well.
  2. So, when I heard last year that a new Indy film was gonna be released I was super excited. The only thing now is that I haven't heard of it since! Can anyone tell me what is going on?
  3. LOL Well me either, but I don't think that all of the oldies over there have all left.
  4. I have a quick question bout psychonauts! I was wondering if Tim Schafer is now part of the company that produced psychonauts, or is he just kind of a person who spreads his talent all over? If someone could tell me it'd be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
  5. I don't think that is entirely true. I mean a lot of old Lucasarts has been swept away, but I mean because there is still one man behind all of it, it can never get to the point where it gets sooo bad (i hope you know who that one man is!). But I mean, neon_git, you are pretty right about that most people from the golden days have left.
  6. Make sure you understand that I don't think Star Wars is bad, and that I don't think the games are cool. Heck! I'm seeing the first showin' of EP 3! It's just that I wish that Lucasarts could maybe split or something; one group works on adventure titles while the other works on Star Wars and whatnot! Good pun by the way Thrik!
  7. Ok, as we all know, Grim Fandango, possibly the best game ever created was a great adventure for those who had it. I have it myself, and I just love it. So, if it was so great and got amazing reviews, why did people not try it out. One of the biggest dissapointments in my life was seeing it not sell very well! If anyone thinks they know, do not hesitate to tell me!!
  8. I am truly saddened that I have to post this thread. As many of you know, our beloved Lucasarts is an amazing game company. But they have also changed a lot over the years. For example, Sam and Max: Freelance Police, and the new Full Throttle were cancelled. It saddens me that even though I love Star Wars, they have shifted so far away from wonderful andventure games like Grim Fandango and Sam and Max! I plead for Lucasarts to continue making some of their most amazing adventure games! P.S. The last adventure game I know of (that lucasarts made) was Escape from Mokey Island, which was pretty good, but nothing since.
  9. I started this thread to see what you guys say about why Grim Fandango did not sell very well. I don't want arguing on this because it is true that it did NOT sell very well! So please submit your opinions!
  10. I'm not sure why, but when he says: "Hmm... Que es cesto?" I find it interesting. I also like when he says: "She's a beauty isn't she? That compass in the handle will really come in handy!":manny:
  11. I would agree with you. Even if you didn't make a sequel, that doesn't mean that a prequel would be a bad idea. It could cover some of his backround. Maybe you could see what it was like for him to be on top. Ya' never know it could happen!
