  1. Get the picture up there - I wanna see it!
  2. Pretty sad that with more news coming about each console, I feel less and less inclined to play either of them. Guess I won't be playing video games anymore...PC gaming is too expensive for me to invest in at this point because I can never seem to play any really "high-end" games with the stuff I have. Nonsense.
  3. Listen to it on Spotify or YouTube or whatever. Listen to the whole album a couple of times all at once, and then you'll best be able to decide if you enjoy it!
  4. No, they said that there is still going to be pre-owned options for their games. Nothing further to announce yet.
  5. ^So what if I stop thinking about you completely? Then do I win?
  6. Still too early for me to make an assessment of this. Seems like a lot of you have already made up your minds, so there's no point in arguing for/against any of them. All goody though...if it's fun to use, I'll give it a whirl.
  7. ^Cheers! I picked up the Vinyl and CD versions. Once I get my own place, I'll be blastin' that baby on the turntable!
  8. This is what happens when an artist gets "tired" of making the same type of music over and over again. Daft Punk evolves with every single album they release. There is honestly no way to put your finger on what their "style" is...and that's why they're so great. As a long-time Daft Punk fan, I can say with 100% honesty that this album was an absolutely euphoric experience for me. Daft Punk has always been about what is fresh and different - heck, not even One More Time was a runaway hit when it first came out. Just like the opening song suggests, there's just no life in music anymore. Life is about taking risks - and making music that is filled with this energy and passion is about taking risks as well. Sure, they may have alienated fans who fell in love with "One More Time" and the Discovery album as a whole, but there are plenty of other artists to fill your EDM void if that's all you're looking for - a rehash. This album literally has EVERYTHING. Sounds from every phase of Daft Punk's lineage. On top of that, you'd be hard-pressed to find an album with better production quality - it sounds so incredibly polished. Do yourself a favor...listen to this album as a whole - let it sink in - then listen to it again. Then form your opinions of it. I thank God that I am alive to hear such wonderful music. What an achievement. I cannot recommend Random Access Memories highly enough. Your ears will love you for it.
  9. That guitar. This is such a bangin' album. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
  10. No Kevin Conroy? No thank you. This went from a possible rental to a complete skip. Kevin Conroy IS Batman in my mind.
  11. There's just something so refreshing about everything Daft Punk puts out. Revolution 909 was the first song I heard from Daft Punk that wasn't on the Discovery album. That's when I knew that I LOVED Daft Punk and not just an album they did. Such a classic.
  12. Agreed! It's oh so fresh and different - exactly what the people need right now. I was so surprised to see that you could stream the entire album from iTunes ahead of the release date, but it's absolutely great. It's also nice because it kinda forces you to listen to the album all at once which is the way that you're supposed to listen to it, so you get the full experience.
  13. KOTOR took me forever. Mass Effect also took me a long time because I explored everything (when I look back on it, I hate myself because ME3's ending still sucks - yup). Spent a TON of time on all of the classic Lucasarts adventures. Damn, it took forever to finish Fate of Atlantis when internet guides didn't exist!
  14. I don't think I could ever cope with a loved one having the term "missing" attached to their name. From a purely selfish point of view, it would kill me inside wondering what happened to them and the thought that MAYBE they're still alive - while knowing that the chances of that are slim to none. Now, assuming that my loved one was missing and living in the same condition that Berry was, I would hope for that over death. As long as they are alive, there is still a chance for them to experience life. Sure, life will NEVER be the same for them after such a traumatic experience, but time, compassion and understanding can heal those scars with hope that they can still hope and dream like the rest of us at the end of the day.
  15. Game over man. Game over. There is NOTHING worse than exclusive licensing. Any sports fan will tell you how BAD Madden NFL games got after EA no longer had to worry about 2K Sports creating competitive products. On top of that, EA is the absolute worst when it comes to anti-piracy, DRM practices. I can't stand that company.
  16. One of the best days of the year! May the 4th be with you as well!
  17. Oh, absolutely not. That's a GREAT story.
  18. He's gone on to state that if a version of "The Killing Joke" is ever created in movie/tv format, he'd be the first in line to be the voice of the Joker - he absolutely loves that story.
