You thought of me when you read this. I kind of got lost in the direction of the article. The title suggested the point of focus was the research of neuroscientist Andy Newburg, but half-way into the article completely shifted focus to an interview with astronaut Ed Mitchell. Nonetheless I thank you for that interesting read -- the weirdness of quantum mechanics seems to me to provide enough wiggle room for consciousness to arise in an otherwise mechanical universe. And if this is true, those same little interactions that give rise to my awareness are present everywhere. And this would imply that the entire universe is self-aware, perhaps in deep meditation.

You misheard. He said you should be brewing me. As in getting me a homemade beer. To which I heartedly agree. I've got a gourmet burger for you in return.

I wish I could I say that was my doing, but that's why people pay for vBulletin.

That was cool. It's always neat to see how others use pattern recognition to expose gaps in the current state. That's like "Eureka!"
And I can only imagine how incredible of an experience that must have been to develop and test the computer program that depicted those simulations. Like hacking KotOR, except it's the universe.

Because it's not as funny
