Game, DLC, and codes took almost an hour to load. My pretty boy Shep from 2 is ugly in 3. Graphics and animations from demo weren't some crap from a year ago; they are the actual quality of the game. No neutral options. Everything is either shiny, happy or not shiny, happy.

Home from errands and installing my new toy now. 66% of disc two. Then I have 3 codes to enter and a ME2 character to import before I can play. Hope I'm finished before dinner

Our BFF Rush lost an advertiser yesterday. Apparently advertisers don't respect the freedom of speech the way they used to. Oh and Obama called the trashy harlot to congratulate her (on being a whore, I guess). I think the article said something about "standing up for women's rights", but that sounds like liberal media code for something (probably "whore").

But moving on to stuff that's actually important; did I mention I'm taking next week as vacation time so that I can play video games?

Tried to play the ME3 demo again last night and spent most of the time poking around inside the menus, trying to see how the new level up system will work. I think I really like the stream-lined feat tree for companions, but obviously I won't know until I play some more.

Walked Shepard from Udina's office to the Council chamber, but then stood there trying to figure out whether I should do the Keeper scanning mission or pass. Then it occurred to me that I won't know for sure whether or not it will be significant until after I've played 3. Therefore, rather than replay 1 and 2 before starting 3, I'm just gonna import my maxed out Shepard from 2 and do a complete trilogy run after I figure out how 3 works.

I fired up ME last night (re-running with a level 60 Shep). Played through Eden Prime and stopped after Udina is introduced on the Citadel. 2 weeks and 1 day until ME3.

I've been "between games" for more than a month now. At this point I'm seriously re-evaluating the role that vidya has in my life. After the demo, I'm not that excited about ME3. I had to ask myself how excited could I really be about Max Payne 3 considering that I played 1 twice and never finished 2. And I still have a really bad taste in my mouth over Skyrim. 89 days to get the CK out. In December, they promised patches on a more frequent basis, yet it took them 6 weeks to release 1.4 and there has been no word about 1.5 since that happened (> 2 weeks ago).

I guess we'll see what happens in a few weeks when ME3 comes out.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the dialog in the demo is horrible. I hope I don't have to eat my words re: Mac Walters.

The details are a little fuzzy, but I think I had a nightmare last night about how horrible the ME3 demo was. I stopped playing after the first part. I tried to save and quit after a few minutes but it wouldn't let me. I thought demos were supposed to make you want to play the game *confused*.

Is this something that they just threw together? Because it looks like something that they just threw together. Please tell me this isn't the quality of the actual game.

I can't remember the last game I played that had crappier animations.

I'm about 3% into the download now. My son had after school stuff, so I'm just now getting home. Not sure if I'll start it tonight or tomorrow. Also, my PC copy of FONV came today. So much game stuff, so little time.
