  1. dun dun dun.. hey gerbil long time.. harald nice.. glad we all could help..thought this thread died with gerbil and i's comedy hour lol
  2. ? Heya jake whats the holy crapo for?
  3. It seems you are the only one with the attitude. Im 30 married with a 5 year old kid if you must know. You told this forum not to buy that comic cause it wasnt worth it. I simply said it was, nothing else about it. If you read all your posts in many other threads you always have attitude. My advice is to check yourself. I never said anything about "if you dont like toybox you cant like sam and max" thats your bs paradigm. I stated the comic wasnt his and that he just did the art, and if you like just his art buy it. Its you who flammed different. Im done with your arrogant ass.
  4. Most of what I said was your quotes, and frustrated ? Haha thats a joke. What I wrote is perfectly clear to anyone over eight.
  5. QUOTE : So like, when you get Steve's dick out of your ass, maybe you can come back and have a civil conversation about pointless things like comic books. Yea im the child QUOTE : Also on your first post about the Nocturnals comic, you said "He did great art on this." That is very uninformative, that didn't actually spell out in words that there was no comic to be seen. I don't know why you have to act like a child about it. Funny how I proceeded to ask what the Nocturnals comic after that and still I was not replied to UNTIL I told everyone to avoid it. Urmm hey ... this is a quote from my post up deir ^^ Nocturnals Troll bridge (Back cover) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...turnalsBack.jpg evil and groovy love the toybox stuff say anything about how great the comic is ? didnt think so QUOTE : Sounds like you really wanted to claim some ground there for whatever reason that internet makes people like you act like this. Also I would like to point out that repeatedly E-mailing Steve Purcell until he sends you stuff doesn't put you in "good rep." Sort of creepy actually. Assumption is the mother of all ****ups. QUOTE: So calm down a little bit and try again. I am allowed to say what I want for paying for a comic that only has one illustration and no COMIC. I would even go as far as to say I would be allowed to speak my opinion about the comic even if I didn't own the comic or had the intention of reading it. It doesn't make me less intelligent or ignorant of anything. Or even unable to appreciate artwork. ("The Toybox style" huh? Whatever.) In the thread we were talking about other purcell art AND comics. I said he had sent me this comic and that the backside art was GREAT, never did I say he did the entire comic nor did I say I found the series or that specific comic to be great. Just that art and style of his I find refreshing from the sam & max stuffs. If you dont know about toyboxx im sorry, seems you shouldnt be collecting purcells stuff. Just stick to sam and max and Ill keep the "dick in my ass" , as you so firmly put it. damn thats a great pun, dick ,ass, firmly put it. sigh In the end remember I never said for anyone to go out and get this comic, I told everyone in this post that it was ONLY the BACK COVER you then stated WOW WTF OMG its only the back cover like you were in shock or something. Mabye you need glasses ? Idk Until next retort,
  6. Hey all Im looking to get my collection bigger by adding info, items and pics of anything and everything purcell. I have a modest collection, nothing horridly fancy, and I am looking to get new stuff. Even if you dont wish to sell your pieces or even if you do, please photo them or scan them if ya can! Well all i can say is email me i have 3 copies of each comic and 2 sets of the autographed poster listed as out of stock many copies of TPB and 1 copy of the leather bound hardback muahahah keep with it on ebay but watch out for some sellers they are trying to get far more than the comics are worth for them. take care badrelgnsf@yahoo.com
  8. Hello If you have scans or pics of those posters please let me know! I am collecting for a database of all purcell work esp sam & max Thanks
  9. Just an update for the Hero comics, I bought them all and emailed Steve himself about it, here is what he said Q: In the comic series Hero, did you do all covers 1-6 or just 1-5. A: "I penciled all those Hero issues and penciled and inked all the covers." Steve Purcell He did not give any new info on other items however but I came across a few things ill try to scan over the next few days.
  10. Then I guess its time to squeeze the original fruit for info. Ill try to email purcell though I think he is in LA at the moment doing that 8bit thing, mabye not. Ill let u know. If anything else pops up let me know .
  11. Ive always hated milehighs prices. I found differnet worlds for 3$ locally same with snake pipe hollow. Working on the beastiary right now, but they are asking 13$ per when you can get them at second hand d&d stores for less than 5$. If i get desperate Ill buy those but for now im still looking for Genertela, Crucible of the Hero Wars since the cover is badass. Someday soon I hope to make a purcell site mabye you could help with the info. Any other scans or anything you need ? let me know Thanks for the info!
  12. Ok folks I have a few pics from my collection and will be getting more soon. I forgot to add one to the list last round so lets do that first, Ill scan the purcell page from it ASAP. Also he did a pic in a comic called "Paper museum" look below. ok now for the scans, know that photobucket makes them horrid compared to the scans so if you need or want larger better versions email or message me. Hero comics are on the way too. 1-6 Ill let u know.
  13. I sent a message to steve about the hero comics a while ago, here was his response Hello Steven-- I've been on vacation and didn't get your mail until now. Yeah, I did the penciling on those Hero comics and I would best describe them as "unremarkable". I don't even have a set of them myself. So that's the scoop. Take care, Steve I had asked about hero 1-6 he never said himself he didnt do 6 but he also never said he didnt. Ill dig up more but u might want to look at the GCD for some info on steve purcell, I got alot from there. Ill be in touch soon.
  14. Cool, about time someone did this. Dont know if you have this on but there is an oakland CA book with a 1 page bio on steve and sam n max are on there too. I will try to get a pic of it sent soon, I have other stuff too I need to send pics of. Some REAL cool stuff. Also he told me he did HERO 1-6 not 1-4 Also again I found a site while trying hard to look for more purcell stuff and he did some early D&D covers, here is the site http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?...&creatorid=6581 And i read he had some involvement with "fish police" comics And you forgot "amazing high adventure #5" that he penciled...yet another animax but i own it He also did the back cover on "Marvel comics presents #42" He had part in "Wolverine #55" and "X marvel #21" as penciler Also just read about inking in "Mr. Monster's super duper special #1-#5" "superman man of steel gallery" inkin was also rumored to be done by purcell Heck thats a load for now, Let me know if u need more info I probably have some more not listed Dont forget fox kids and that wizard mag too ill try to get any pics u need just let me know !
