I like it. My only suggestion is that there be some lights in the buildings of the city. Other than that, I think it's perfect.

Yep. I noticed this and I loved the movie. I also like how so much is unexplained. I mentioned that scene to one of my friends and he thinks that it is the monster falling from space. I also looked it up online and some people say that it is a satellite that fell from space, went down into the ocean and woke up the monster. While I think the second explanation is less believable, I kind of like it more because it touches into the mysterious of the deep ocean.

Internet lingo like "you" being abbreviated as "u". Stupid people. Now there is a difference. Acting stupid I don't really mind since it can be humorous, but truly stupid people annoy me a bit. Walmart. The only thing this place is good for is being able to steal a large selection of items. Basketball. I just can't stand watching or playing it. Now, I don't know if I really hate any of these things, but I do strongly dislike them.

Kurgan, it's good to see a post from you. I thought you had disappeared like numerous others. OT: I like this. I've personally thought that evolution is compatible with most religions. It's nice to see the Vatican shares this view. -
I'm going to have to say that I strongly disagree with you. Now, while this country does have separation of Church and State, it is not nearly as recognized as it should be. So, yes this country has and does work on misguided fairy tales(Prop 8, Stem Cells). I don't believe that it is right, it is just the way some things have come to be. And it seems that until people can recognize when to separate their own personal beliefs and its effects others, then things won't be changing very soon. A large number of the United States population is unfortunately hypocritical. Many are very quick to shout out that the founding fathers where religious, while they also seem to conveniently forget the separation of Church and State.

There are some things that I don't think humans should meddle with...yet. Stem Cell research was one of them. I have mixed feelings about it though. If the cells are there, they aren't being used and could possibly go to waste, do it. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices. This will probably sound horrible to you Garfield(and I don't mean it to), but you could think of the cells as little martyrs.

It just occured to me that we are either borderline flaming or are completely flaming Garfield. Simple as this. Garfield, I do not agree with any of your views on gay marriage, but I do respect them. Just about everyone in this thread disagrees with you. They have provided reasons, as you have provided yours. There needs to be another piece added to this arguement otherwise it's going to keep going in a circle.

This is my own personal question, but what exactly is wrong with polygamy? I understand pedophilia, that is illegal beause it involves children. That one is pretty obvious, and just. Does it matter whether or not I like to keep multiple girlfriends or multiple wives?
