  1. There are some introductory tutorials on the Sandcrawler Network. http://www.sandcrawler.net/forum/rcmod.php?page=mapping
  2. The Sandcrawler Mod has recently been updated with a manual installation version. If you're familiar with the location of the game files then installation won't be a problem.
  3. Turn bumpmapping to low in your ingame graphics options and try again. This has been an issue for many mappers because of the bumpmapping problem with newer generation graphics cards.
  4. Did you add the patch 1.0 http://www.lucasarts.com/support/update/commando.html This installs Hangar map and the UE executable.
  5. Go into game and set Bumpmapping to Low. This is a known issue and this workaround did the job for me and many others.

Since SWRC has recently moved onto Steam and with LucasArts' President, Darrell Rodriguez' comment of "This effort is going to make it possible to introduce a whole new generation of gamers to LucasArts' classic games" we're going to see if that effort can also be applied to patching RC to make it compatible with current gaming hardware and gameplay trends. If you want to support the push to publicise the need for patch updates please join this Steam Community group and post a comment.   12. Here's a short Youtube vid of the AA gun with a difference. Grenade Launcher It has 6 grenades as projectiles and the impact is that of a grenade as well. The Damage has been reduced from 400 to 80. You need all 6 to kill with shields at full. It makes for a good long range stun weapon or a close stun switch weps and spray weapon.
