  1. No problem, thanks for understanding.
  2. Lecoy was making the blue, it would seem mighty hypocritical of me to turn around and make one
  3. READ... MY... POSTS. Don't make me quote myself.. I assume you can read, scroll up TWO posts. Green = Ruku. Yellow = Ruku. Pissed off = Ruku. All the movie variants are covered.
  4. Did you not read what I just posted?? Let me summarize it in easy to read, bullet form: - I am doing Deviss. - Quickness lacks quality. - Don't insult me. Considering you aren't a part of the original team, I'd suggest trying to constantly squeeze yourself in. The variants I listed in the post right before yours are the variants I am doing, end of discussion. I don't care how quick you can skin, I really don't. You want to skin something? Fine, ask Marz if he needs anymore variants. If he does, fine.. do them. If he doesn't.. then too bad, you can't always come into a project at half way and expect a place. Everyone here has been working hard to achieve the best they can; coming in and implying slow work or inferior work is not only disrespectful.. but insulting.
  5. Can people please read the prior pages! I have listed maybe 3-4 times the variants I am doing: - Commander Bly (Yellow) - Commander Thire (Red) - Commander Gree (Green) - Commander Deviss (Darker red, wears visor in all shots; plus ARC "skirt" and shoulder pad) - 212th Attack Battalion (Bly's troops, modified pattern and no visor) - 7th Sky Corps (White with green stripes, etc) - 41st Elite Legion (Dark grey) - Galactic Marine (Not a part of your models. This is just my new texture on the Snowtrooper - to better help the "complete" feel of the pack) If you are UNSURE as to which these are, google them. Do not go ahead and make them as I had already established at the beginning of the project that I was doing them. I am in a pretty bad mood at the moment, and I apologize... but for ****'s sake people... read the forums! >_< Sorry.
  6. My suggestion is to break the pack up into three parts: - "Clone Ultima: Episode II" - "Clone Ultima: Episode III" - "Clone Ultima: Republic Commando" By giving them their own seperate files, it allows for more expandability, without cluttering. This would also allow you to create all 4-5 Republic Commando variants. So basically the title implies "Ulitmate Clones ... from said Episode". This would, in my opinion be far more feasable and reduce the file sizes.
  7. Let's not go overboard here with our variety of skins... Remember, on top of all these clones.. people have many other favourite models, plus the base assets.
  8. He looks to be using Photoshop 7.
  9. Well, aside from the problem with your attitude, ... I should point out you DIDN'T say anything regarding showing it at all.. nor mention anything about [here]. Shall I refresh your memory? Now what am I supposed to make from that? Now, supposing you had conveyed your message in a respectful, coherent manner.... having a "competition" to vote which person's work looks better isn't very respectful, and is far too time consuming and pointless on something we had already established at the beginning.
  10. I've done almost everything, but like I've said in the past 3 messages to you (excluding PMs) I still need the ARC Shoulder pad, the skirt and the visor - for both Commander Deviss and Commander Bly. I'm sorry if this is taking too long to your standards, but you have to understand that what I am doing takes time, not to mention I have a full-time job. At this point I believe I am going to take possibly two more days. So do everything you have to do, don't worry about me - My package (once I email it) will have all the icons, shaders, etc in a pk3... all you'll have to do is add it to the zip or pk3 (however you're chosing to package it). For my final list, I am doing these: - Commander Bly (Yellow) - Commander Thire (Red) - Commander Gree (Green) - Commander Deviss (Darker red, wears visor in all shots; plus ARC "skirt" and shoulder pad) - 212th Attack Battalion (Bly's troops, modified pattern and no visor) - 7th Sky Corps (White with green stripes, etc) - 41st Elite Legion (Dark grey) - Galactic Marine (Not a part of your models. This is just my new texture on the Snowtrooper - to better help the "complete" feel of the pack) Now I'm hoping you can hold out those extra 2-3 days, I can assure you it's worth it. P.S. @ Kain: Having two Grees in an already cluttered skin pack is not the smartest thing I've ever heard. And for the screen-wolves:
  11. Zappa, again... you really need to blend the colors... or atleast shade them (brush tool/burn tool, etc). Just making them flat colors, doesn't compliment the rest of the textures and isn't going to be well received by the community.
  12. Try making the blue on a seperate layer from the base (I'm assuming and hoping it is), now experiment with the "Layer mode" setting, once find one that is satisfactory, try lowering the Opacity so that it's not so thick and flat.
  13. I doubt Marz will model all those extra parts. That and the fact that this is going to be pretty crowded as is... In my opinion, the Republic Commandos should all be done, but in a seperate pack.
  14. ..... Marz, I thought I was doing Gree......
  15. @ Telsa: I think there's enough content in this pack as it is :\
  16. Are you refering to making a pattern on the helmet with minimal to no distortion? If you're more specific, I'd be more than happy to help you out.
  17. Here's a quick shot of some of the texture I have right now. I apologize for taking so long, but like I said on the first page, I'm doing the textures from scratch. Once I get the "clean" body done (which is almost done, btw) .. It's all downhill from there... It won't take long at all. **Note that some of the textures here are still Marz's... mine were not "fit for show"**
  18. All or nothing Kain, all or nothing
  19. Well, my thoughts on the Commandos: - Release them seperately, therefor you can create all four of them without overcrowding a single pk3. - The textures are pretty good, however the spec shader makes it look a little too.. clean/shiny. My advice is to make a really grainy, bumpy image of scratches and ripples and whatnot (strictly b&w), then map it as an environment map. It may help recreate the look of the original game. - The visor bugs me, only because it isn't my style. To each their own, right? My opinion is that it doesn't look like a neon light, lighting the visor (which is it)... but rather a blue tinted visor (ala Commander Gree). Just my two cents =P I'll post my updates pretty soon, but I'd like to know what's happening with Bly and Deviss' Visor and a map-able "arc skirt". I do apologise for my textures taking so much longer (and at this point, probably holding the release date back) but I am confident you understand it is worth the wait.
  20. I don't think an env map specifically for the visor is really worth it, nor necessary. A spec map should suffice.
  21. All jokes aside, is anyone here doing any shaders? I've made specular maps and a light evironment map to go with my custom clone "base". I was wondering if anyone else has done that to?
