  1. I spoke to a lawyer before going ahead with this. And all Lucas Arts can do is tell me to stop selling them. If they tell me that then obviously I will stop. I'm not exactly selling counterfeit Nike T-Shirts claiming they're real now am I?
  2. I was expecting a more positive response really. Fair enough the price is a bit high but I personally have to spend a lot of money or production for each shirt. Here are the costs. £2 per T-Shirt (approx $4) £1 per printing paper per shirt (approx $2) £5 delivery (approx $9) £25 per month ink and priting equipment hire (approx $45) + Manual labour. Being in the UK the costs are in £pounds which has much higher value than the dollar therefore I have to sell the shirts for quite a bit in dollar value. We all buy designer T-Shirts for rediculous prices. I'm not too bothered about designer gear myself if there was any gear worthy of high prices it would be rare stuff like these shirts. I am a Monkey Island fan, I have been since I played the second one. I loved it so much that since then not only I played all of them I eagerly await news for the 5th version and am always on the lookout. As for making an impact on Lucas Arts well I guess maybe I got a bit carried away or was too excited (or ambitious). But if these shirts went fast and the shirt website became popular I would have done a press release which could have got Lucas Arts attention. I don't know. If I don't get many sales I guess I will just have to end this. Damn I think I got excited over no reason. Thanks

  4. Finally I can announce Monkey Island T-Shirts are available. Please check my signature. The T-Shirts show the message: "We Want Monkey Island 5" If we all get together and show these off, we can make a difference. Let's show Lucas Arts we mean business. Thanks

  6. Will be ready within a week, something you can and should show off, to deliver it's powerful message. Something for all of us. If I tell you now what it is it will just spoil the surprise.

  10. It's coming... (I'm not talking about Monkey Island 5 by the way) Almost here...

  12. Hmm, I initially didn't think of that. I guess I will need rights. Damn! That's probably the end of that then. The rights probably cost a lot. I'll probably contact Lucas Arts and ask them. Oh man.
  13. Yeh that's right, they won't be official merchandise, I will have to get them made.
  14. I don't think anyone else apart from Lucas Arts can do the Monkey Island brand justice. If anyone else tried creating the new one, it would lose all the magic. Monkey Island brand is a package consisting of unique humour, characters, artwork, sound, atmosphere etc. No other party can replicate all these attributes perfectly. If attempted it would just turn out to be just another adventure game and not Monkey Island.
  15. Well I need to get 1 of these custom made first, depending on which one you all really want, then I will have pictures for you. I really like the embroidered badges 10x6 cm which would look something like these http://www.bloggley.com/badges.jpg Monkey Island deserves merchandise, it has such cool characters. Thanks
