  1. Hello! I bought this game a long time ago with "Star Wars: The Best of PC" bundle. It already is the 1.05 version. My problem is that every single time I play the Empire campaign it crashes during the opening cutscene of "Subjugating Geonosis". Curiously only the video card shuts down, I can hear the game running in the background but I can't do anything except reset the whole thing. Nothing I tried (re-install, modify video settings) can cure this problem and I haven't found any solutions online. I have Windows 7 x64, NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT with newest drive.
  2. Hey guys! I don't typically use forums, so I apologize if there is a better place for this or if I'm overlooking something that might already answer my question. So I have KOTR on Steam and played it several months ago without problems. I disabled the Steam overlay and the intro cutscenes in order for it to work, but from there everything went smoothly. I started playing again yesterday and though the game itself still works fine, all the 'movies' are just skipped. There isn't a crash or a blank screen, but it seamlessly moves on to whatever gameplay is after the cutscene. If I try watching them from the 'Movie' section on the main menu, clicking the buttons just makes the normal beeping sound and nothing happens. The credits still work though. So far I've tried messing with the resolution, compatibility modes, and a couple of other small things, but nothing has worked so far. The game itself is still fine, but it would be nice not to have to look up all the cutscenes manually. Any ideas?
  3. Playing the single player game, Kyle's speech cuts off after a word or 2. Other characters are normal. The voice cuts off with a *click* sound. It's not good ASUS Laptop Windows 7 32bit C2Duo 8700 Realtek High definition audio/Presonus Firebox WDM Audio NVIDIA Geforce GTX 260M Hope this is enough system information. Thanks in advance! -Abel
  4. Ok, first of all, I don't actually have the game yet, I've only just ordered it (4-14 days! Keep your fingers crossed for for me that it come in four...or less) This is just a problem I noticed in the demo, so I figured I'd get some council on it now so I'd be prepared once I got the game. Now, on to the problrm, you see when the opening for the demo comes on, it doesn't play it just show the first second of it or so, stretched into four sgments containg the lines of solid color for the game basically it looks like someone took the cinematics(/ingame CGI effects) stretched them out and put them through a paper shredder. I'm already aware of the patch and improved launcher, so if it's corrected by those let me know. However if this is some unique problem that I have, I'd really appreciate some advice. I'm running Windows XP.
