"Residual" emulator from the makers of Scummvm is now available for download and can run Grim Fandango on multiple current operating systems. Here is a video of me running it on my macbook pro with Snow Leopard OS: This is great news for Grim fans who have had issues playing the game on modern pcs like myself. I can't wait for a wii port. I am currently looking for people who can help me remake Grim Fandango in another platform or game. I am very well skilled in Second Life. This game is very dynamic, flexible and easy. The art and the design of Grim Fandango could be done within the world of Second Life where we are able to create characters, buildings and everything else you can imagine. Two years ago I remember finding actual working Curse of Monkey Island web site, now it's gone. Lucasarts has removed all of the old websites from their games list. Can anyone tell me or direct me to a place where I can find archived or backed up copies of these web sites (Curse of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango)? Or at least materials that were used on it (backgrounds, images etc.) Somebody must have saved some of the stuff from oblivion? Thanks in advance Luka

Is there a way that I could edit Grim Fandango. By "edit" I mean change the scenery and character a bit or something like that... If it is possible, how can I do that? Note: I want to do this for my own pleasure.

I love the original Grim Fandango. I've heard a lot of different stories about there being a new Grim Fandango in development... Now, is that true, will there ever be a new episode of Grim Fandango?

Ok, first of all, I don't actually have the game yet, I've only just ordered it (4-14 days! Keep your fingers crossed for for me that it come in four...or less) This is just a problem I noticed in the demo, so I figured I'd get some council on it now so I'd be prepared once I got the game. Now, on to the problrm, you see when the opening for the demo comes on, it doesn't play it just show the first second of it or so, stretched into four sgments containg the lines of solid color for the game basically it looks like someone took the cinematics(/ingame CGI effects) stretched them out and put them through a paper shredder. I'm already aware of the patch and improved launcher, so if it's corrected by those let me know. However if this is some unique problem that I have, I'd really appreciate some advice. I'm running Windows XP.

Yeah,now I got to year 2,and I cant hear the sounds,but I can see the text. Im using windows XP,and downloaded the latest patch. Options are right,because there is: Only voice. Help me please,I want to play. Edit: Could someone upload data004,from the game directory?
