KOTOR II Level Problem
darth_sausage posted a topic in Padawan's LoungeAs the title suggests, I'm experiencing a certain problem concerning the level system.Right now I'm on Goto's Yacht and I've chosen to send Kreia and Mira.I've noticed a very weird glitch - currently all of my party members are level 15 or 16 except Kreia who at the moment is level 12 and I'm not able to level her up.Have any of you encountered this glitch before? If so, please share how you've managed to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.
Another alternative installer/launcher
Gownaar posted a topic in Glottis' GarageI never got around to playing Grim Fandango until recently. Didn't have any technical problems with the game personally but since many people do, I thought it'd be a cool project to gather most common fixes in one box, make it automated and user friendly. I know there's Residual now, haven't tried it to be honest but it's not even beta yet and seems to be moving like a dead cheetah, so maybe this isn't completely outdated right in the start. Features are listed on the installer's welcome page and launcher info can be found in a txt later so I'm not going to write about it here. The only thing to add is that beside CDs, GrimInstaller can also install from a folder (must be run from a location that contains GRIMDATA folder which contains all required files). If you care to check it out, let me know what you think. Update: ****** GrimInstaller/GrimLauncher is now obsolete. It is recommended that you use ResidualVM to play Grim Fandango. There is no need to install the game, but you can use GrimCopy utility to setup game files for Residual. Brutal Legend is a great game, made real by the tremendous effort of many great people — developers, artists and publishers. Unfortunately the release of 1.2 patch had introduced a bug critical enough to make the game unplayable for a significant portion of PS3 users, known as the "stuck at the loading screen" bug. This petition was created to address this issue. The detailed description of this and a few other bugs can be seen in the petition itself. iPod touch update issue!
Pho3nix posted a topic in General Tech DiscussionI posted this up at apple.com's message board and haven't gotten any useful replies yet, so I decided to try my luck here ----------------------- A few days ago I decided to update my 1st gen iTouch from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3, all went well until the update was complete and iTunes informed me that my iPod is restarting in a bit. Apparently something went wrong with the update that caused my iTouch to go into recovery mode, which I find odd since it didn't inform me of any problems while I was updating. Now whenever I connect my iTouch it informs me that it is still in recovery mode and needs to be restored, I complied but as the restore was "complete" I get an error message 6. I tried probably 4-5 more times and then went on to the Apple site to find some answers, one suggested I turn off my antivirus and firewall, which I did. Didn't help. Then I tried another USB cable, didn't help. Then I tried to use an external USB hub, didn't work. Finally after a few random tries it informed me that the restore was a success, and my iPod is restarting in a few moments, my joy was short-lived however as iTunes once again informed me that my iPod is still in recovery mode. Frustrated, I scoured a few forums and found this place: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ and proceeded to download software version 3.1.2. I shift clicked on restore and selected the older version with no avail. It still gives me the occasional "error 6" or the message that my restoration was a "success". What should I do? this is definitely not a hardware issue since my problem began with the update, I should note that my iTunes version was not the newest one when the initial update was performed (if memory serves me right it was one version older than the current one), could this be the main culprit? I did download and install the newest iTunes version after I got the first error message though. If my iTouch is beyond repair I just have to ask, how can Apple release such a buggy update? It'll be real nice to churn out 400€ for another iPod just because of faulty software on Apple's part. Thanks in advance.
