npc file editing

Make a zip file and place the new npc files in it following the same directory structure (re-create it somewhere and then add it to the zip file). Then rename the .zip to .pk3.

If you want it to replace an in-game thing, just make sure it comes alphabetically after assets, so assfeel would be valid for a dirty example while asscot would not :p

Can anyone explain to me step by step exactly how to edit these npc files correctly so no errors occur in game. I am almost at the point where I know how but I can't get them back in the assets1.pk3 correctly, any help would be greatly appreciated.

lmao very funny.

on a related note, one solution i often use to organize .pk3 files is to label important files with a "z" (or sometimes several, depending on importance). for example:

"regular-file.pk3"

"z_important-file.pk3"

"zzz_very-important-file.pk3"
