Saleen Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 Try this: 1. You know how to kick? Good. Kick someone until they are down to the ground and execute death from above. No honor, but instant death. 2. If you have a nOOb fighting in the yellow or blue style (likely) fight in the red using backward spins... you'll get a hit after a couple of trys. Or fight in the blue and use the forward lunge. 3. If your fighting against a pro they will probably be in the red style. Stay in the yellow and hit them while they are recovering from death from above (flying downward hack). This could take a while. 4. If you have a guy just randomly executing death from above, use the red (strong) style, wait until they are in the air, and hit them in passing. 5. Learn to jump backwards and execute the backward spin in midair, difficult to time and aim, but if it hits it will surprise, intimidate, and seriously damage your enemy. 6. Jumping is grand, but rolling is more effective. It takes less time to get up from a roll and attack than it does to fall and attack. Be an oppourtunist, get behind your opponent, and stay out of the way of strong attacks. 7. Don't throw you saber at pros, they'll get pissed and then you'll have no chance. There is not a single non-newbie player who'd ever use a DFA in a nf duel. If you DFA in a no force duel, you are surely stupid or you simply suck at the game. A pro would never ever ever do a DFA in a duel. Even a noob like me knows that 4. A guy doing that must be so stupid that you could just wait a while for him to accidentally disconnect from the game. No need to attack. 5. If you're playing the 1.04 patch everyone has been playing for the last year-and-a-half you'd know that backstabs are useless. 7.
