KotOR and KotOR2 Savegame Editor (KSE) - Current Version: 3.3.3

I am using 3.3.4 and that is the error log I found in KSE_Errors.txt. This error happens for any saved file when I expand classes, I receive an error message saying "Error mgs: element "#2#000195-Game194#Class#KnownList0#Power" already exists at /<C:\User\Hanna\Desktop\KSE\kse_334.exe>Tk.pm line 251."

KSE is not registering my force points right. I maxed out every skill and attribute. But my force points are still at 40. and I'm already at the highest level in game.
I have the same problem. Just started playing Kotor1 again and KSE locked my force points to 40.

 

What I discovered is that "Force Points" and "MaxForce Points" are changed to "ForcePoints and MaxForcePoints" after hitting apply. So maybe there is a typo within KSE?

I'm having an issue with version 3.3.3;

 

I'm using the following mods:

90K's SUPER Content Mod

Ultimate Saber Mod

Skip Peragus

TSL Restored Content

 

I open the editor and I can't edit area name or last module - which sucks, seeing as the only reason I downloaded the editor was to get through the Nar Shadaa bug where I see a cutscene twice and then can't proceed to Goto's Yacht.

 

Any clue what might be wrong?

Not sure about KSE, but it sounds like you are using an outdated version of TSLRCM (1.6).

 

Ensure that you have 1.8.3 installed from here:

Additionally, the SUPER Content Mod and Ultimate Saber Mod are incompatible with TSLRCM.

 

Download up to date and compatible versions here:

Actually, I recommend checking the actual thread, milestails, as there's an exe download as well(a patch).

 

As to original guy's issue, that isn't a bug with KSE; tk102 made those pieces viewable but not editable. As I haven't gotten word from him on them, I'm assuming to keep them that way. However, I'll ask him again for his reasons for making them uneditable.

 

However, I will point out that they're only use outside of positioning you during a savegame load is the Return to Ebon Hawk function from K1...

Hey i've been trying to change my characters head skin to a one that I downloaded with my KSE and the I can get the portrait to come up just fine. The problem is the "Appearance" section when i click on it the list on the side is completely empty. KOTOR 1's list is fine, Kotor 2's is empty and I cannot figure out how to fix it. Please help!

I am using the 3.3.3 version my kotor/kotor2 is the collection edition designed for win7 with tslrm 1.8.3. Anyway... I have found that after changing my players tats in either game and then saving the game the load screen freezes att about 1/3 of the way loaded....any help please.

Well, for starters, what stats did you change?

 

Please list them all and what you set them to, and what they were originally if possible.

I was basically trying out your saved game editor to see what it could do...so I started a fresh game with a quick character of consular... (can't remember what his basic starting stats are) changed his stats to 20 on all strength, con, ect. and then all skills too..like compter use and added a few robes from the masterlist that you can't get in game. Honestly I'm somewhat glad it happened with this character rather than one I was going to play through with...but thats it, as far as I can tell.

Did you edit your class?

 

Which robes did you add?

 

Lastly, where are you in the game, as in who are you controlling and what is your current objective?

literally six minutes in... havent even opened the morge door... added master jedi and jedi robes along with throns, the cowling robe archa jet and sunriders. I havent altered my class and the two mods I have running are vanirs workbench mod and tslrcm..

In that case, please send a link to the Vanir mod, and try to take out the robes, since they require a feat that you only get at level 2.

it doesn't seem to allow me toload still....however what I'm going to do is uninstall and reinstall without the saves and the tslrm only and see if that helps. it is midnight here so I'll let you know in the morning. oh the link to the vanir mod is this

tried a possible fix... I have it running both in compatibilty mode (win xp service pack 3 ) and as admin... and with multiple saves if one doesn't load I exit reload and toggle v-sinc. I still have no idea why this is happening......it was just a case of trying everything and seeing what happens... And sadly it did not work!!

 

I seem only able to save my game and then reload once before it stops working

Have you tried loading a new character and not using KSE? That could tell us if the problem is the game or the program...

 

hmmm... i have i have saved and loaded an untouched game three times and it is fine. interestingly enough if I use the cheat console it crashes as well.

took a pregen cons and altered his stngth stat to 18 to see if it would affect the save and after one save n load it crashed.

 

I have just downloaded a replacement mss32.dll file (keeping the original just in case) not sure if that will help will let you know

nope...didn't work...I am completely at a loss.... I can only load autosaves

Can you load unedited saves, without cheats or anything?

 

 

Funny you should ask...I just reinstalled a copyly unedited and unmodded copy and it does not allow me to load saves either

 

the only thing idea i have is that this computer (as oppossed to my last which ran it perfectly fine 6 months ago) has catalyst... I have heared that it might cause problems and something about turning of catalyst ai...but I have no idea what that is....
