What film can you watch over and over again?

The Cheat

Recommended Posts

Pirates of the Carribean

Face/Off

The Rock

Pulp Fiction

The Killer (John Woo)

Desperado

El Mariachi (just because it was made for $7000!)

Indiana Jones (trilogy)

Brother (Russian film :p )

Alien

Aliens

Some 'Bond films

and Braveheart (yes it's over 2 1/2 hours, but it's great!)

I have like 30 more DVD's besides these (like Matrix, LOTR, Die Hard, The Godfather), but I don't watch them as often.

How could I forget Bueller?!?!? Maybe because of how many faves I have ... ShawShank isn't one for me, though.

[edit]

Seeing a couple more lists ...

Really can't believe I forgot Woody Allen - some of my all time faves: Sleeper and Zelig, amongst many.

Also forgot Mel Brooks - Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, etc.

Indiana Jones - really just Raiders for me.

I also like Jackie Chan movies, the good ones... not his new stuff... things like Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, Legend of the Drunken Master, Mr. Nice Guy... those kind of movies... not stuff like the Tuxedo and The Medallion... even though they're still funny... they lack the action needed.

Given his age, I can see why but DAMNIT JACKIE CHAN IS IMMORTAL!!!!!!!! Go back home Jet Li... cheap matrix ripoff... only good movie of his is Romeo must Die...:)

Darn forgot another gem of my youth, still an absolute fave in adulthood:

Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

... hmmm ... they just did the 30th Anniv Edition ...

I'm not looking forward to THAT being 'updated' (read: trashed) like everything else - Cat in the Hat, Grinch, Charlie's Angels, Starsky and Hutch, BattleStar Galactica, and on and on and on ...

Twin Peaks quote, "Mike, IS the man!"

Apart from Eraserhead, Fire Walk With Me is the most Lynch has been allowed to be himself in any directorial project.... The results are obvious....astounding, and pseudo-mystical soft porn is a great description man ! I loved Ran, a great take on King Lear, still, Throne of Blood is absolutley amazing... the storyline and performances are overpowering, you almost forget you are watching in B&W I often find....
