It is doing well as can be with four steel spikes sticking in it for the External Fixator, which is a traction device that holds the wrist in place instead of a cast. It uses the pull of the ligaments to keep the bone fragments in the proper position, have to have it for six weeks. Hurts some still, taking Percocet as needed for pain. I go back to the doctor next Tuesday to get the stitches taken out and the traction eased a little. The bad part will be when he removes the metal screws in six weeks by backing them out with an electric drill, without any anesthesia! Big time OUCH!

So, how long did it take you to just type that with one hand?

You don't want to know, probably twenty minutes at least with my left hand. I know I'm slow but it's getting better with practice.

He he, we used our Bacta supply on a Imperial agent who betrayed us. It was funny to watch.

I took shrapnel in my right wrist while rescuing my wingman from a half dozen tie interceptors on his tail. He is a good pilot, we were just heavily outnumbered as usual. We barely got away, some others didn't. frown.gif

P.S. - Actually crushed it with a nasty fall while playing volleyball. Boy did it hurt. One surgery so far. Worst part, I'm right handed.

Sorry to hear that Sky Master. frown.gif You were lucky, that is a mere annoyance compared to what happened to me though. I crushed my right wrist on Oct. 1st and will be lucky if I can hold joystick well enough to play RS again by Christmas! Major pain with major rehab ahead to get my wrist working again. So sad I would cry if not for the fact that it could be much worse. Much, much worse.
