Frankly, this is why it took AOTCTC so long to release anything at all - they say they do it for fun, but want recognition for efforts and meet criticism with spite.

Zero, you're awesome man, but this TC needs to be called a mod until it actually physically totally converts all game aspects in to something of the group's own design.

I appreciate code changes - I'm a coder, but I also recognize that code generally doesn't get appreciated unless it's something major - big enough that a muggle like the lot of 'em can't figure it out in their heads.

Good luck with future releases. I hope you've finally learned a few things from this.

Yeah thanks Wudan, I think it was a little mad of us to release the code and then the map, then the HUD, then the model, then another map.

I think we really wanted to get some feedback on the code as that was the most important part of it. The maps wont work the way we would like them to work with out the code, we havent had a beta test or any real testing and i think this was more of a demo beta than anything.

So that you do know this is the release schedual.

Demo - Code

Demo - Map

Demo - HUD

Demo - Model(s)

Demo - Map

Demo- Well you will have to see ;P

Demo - Patch and full version of above and extras.

Welp, I tried my best to make something you all would enjoy. The mappers were working very hard to get everything precise and legit as possible. Time is always against us, so we went ahead and gave everyone something to chew on before the big shebang. I guess you're all aware of this, so I won't keep beating the dead horse. So anyways, I just want to thank you all for the opportunity to be involved in the coding industry for the past two jedi knight series. I will be going off into another direction as RL has taken a turn as of late. i.e. I have a wedding to plan for. So long fellas, and enjoy!

Peace out!

Ok, I have just looked at the Naboo Outpost map and I have two things to ask:

1) Please point me out where in episode 2 we see a Naboo Outpost?

and

2) Are you trying to drive people away, cause this map isnt nothing special.

I was hoping for a map with more showcase then a small little duel map. Also I was looking for something that is from the movie and would excite me when I played it. Well looks like your atleast 2 for 2 for disappointments so far, I sure hope you have something up your sleves.

You hear that guys? 5 installments. This is #2.

So wait for the "full demo" to make your judgement.

That said, there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism of what's been provided.

After all, why release something if you don't want people to use it and form opinions about it? ; )

Oh, pfft. I trashed that map seconds after seeing it.

You lot are never happy.

There are other things to be released this week.

Perhaps you should've just released them all together, instead of staggering them like this.

All that seems to have been done is just to puncture a huge hype machine.

Is there any point anymore ?

I mean really we try our hardest and we are working really hard to get things up and released, ok the code might not be the best thing we could of released but its a start. Trust me, im coming out of 'retirment' for mapping and will be fixing up some of the maps myself to help speed the proccess, you know what would really help, you guys helping us instead of compaining.

Ok I agree with that point, but there is no point doing a demo and giving you the best bits, yes maybe it should of been done as one, but dont forget you are all my beta testers :p

You dont like the demo, fine but tell me why in detail how the hell are we sposed to get it right if you dont tell us.

it has been said various times...to release everything as a whole..these things are great for beta testers, but thats one step before a demo release

What I didn't like about the demo:

- Glow was too big, especially with dynamic glow on. I couldn't see a thing!

- Too many saber styles for single saber, consider doing what someone suggested earlier, adding a menu with checkboxes to select which stances you want.

- Seemed laggy... Hit detection seemed even more off than base JA.

- I didn't really notice anything different, besides the enabling of some single player maps and already included maps. The sabers were there though, I liked the RGB saber stuff, except you could make a super-ultra-mega bright sword by turning everything to the top and turning the blade to "supreme."

Other than that, keep up the good work :)

I am eagerly waiting to see some of the gorgeous looking content you have on your site. :band:
