~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomorrow LucasArts plans to officially announce the development of Star
Wars® Knights of the Old Republic® II: The Sith Lords, the next
chapter to the award winning game of 2003. Set in the unique timeframe
of the Old Republic, 4,000 years before Star Wars Episode I, The Sith
Lords features an all-new more perilous storyline, new characters,
classes, locations and force powers.
Approximately five years after the events of the original KOTOR,
the Jedi, nearly brought to an end by the Sith, are on the brink of
extinction. The galaxy is in turmoil and the Republic no longer has
the strength to protect its worlds. Sith Assassins are hunting the
one they believe to be the last of the Jedi, the one who holds the
key to the fate of the galaxy - You.
The highly anticipated sequel is published by LucasArts and developed
by Obsidian Entertainment Inc. and is planned to be released for the
Xbox and PC in February 2005. The Sith Lords will be unveiled at
Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2004, which is being held at the
Los Angeles Convention Center May 12-14.
Honestly, I think it should leave off from the first one, where you're Revan, annnnnnnd....at the start of the game, you can choose whether ni the last game you chose the darkside, or light.
It'll be wicked.
They have made it clear that won't happen. You apparently find out something about Revan, but you are a new character - Jedi from the start. It is 5 years later, and they take into account any possible ending so it doesn't ruin things whether you were light or dark. I assume that also means you can't see Juhani or Mission or Big Z or Jolee, as they are all possible kills in the first game.
