If, like me, you are a fan of the series, you must also be burning with impatience to get your hands on this game. I'm in the middle of playing GTA:III at the moment, its the first one in the series I have played, much fun, I'm going to have to play Vice City when I'm done. It is a little buggy though, I don't like hitting things before I can see them. but I have heard that Vice City is better for that sort of thing so I guess the learnt from their mistakes. Posted May 19, 2004 Author Share Posted May 19, 2004 Here's some more info I found on the game. from Gamespy.com The game follows Carl Johnson, a man who managed to escape the rough life in Los Santos, San Andreas - a city torn apart from corruption, drugs and gangs. The city borders the affluent suburbs where the rich and the famous dwell. Nary do either side ever cross paths if they can help it. Five years ago Carl escaped the city for greener pastures. Flash-forward to the 90's, where some bad news brings him home once again. Carl's mother has been murdered, his friends are mixed up in all kinds of trouble and his family is a mess. So Carl returns home, only to be taken into custody by corrupt cops for a homicide he didn't commit. His only option? Take control of the bad situation, save his family and take down anyone that gets in his way. Thus begins the journey in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. EDIT: Found some more info. Aparently the city is 4 to 6 times bigger than Vice City, you can now buy casinos and play in them, you can now swim, break into houses, do a drive by with 4 people in your car (as one of the pictures suggested). There will obviously be a lot of new vehicles like bycicle, motorcycles, cars, planes, rollerskates, etc. And you can now gain weight by eating junk food ('Donut Shop' picture) and loose some by going to the gym. and here are some more pics...
