Godsheim Station: Throne Room

Odin: Well now that is over, we should start the celebration.

*Odin and the others stand Odin heads out of the room. THe Einherjar open the large doors for him and the rest of the council.*

Svafa: Should we invite Mirra and Ellela?

Odin: Why not. The station can send them a message.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Republic suite:

A message appears on the main console with the invitation. At the bottom there is a request for a positive or negative reply and a note that if they accept a valkyrie would be around in two hours to escort them to the party. *

Shadow Base

*In a large monitoring room, Aren and other Shadows watch assassins going through the augmentation processes, equipping themselves with weapons or armor, and using the simulator room.

Behind her, Farran bursts in the room*

Farran: What are you thinking?

Aren: Did I say you could leave my office?

Farran: I saw the list. I followed that green-haired girl and took a mask.

Aren: They say curiosity killed the cat, Ariel.

Farran: What in the Force are you doing?

Aren: You swear by the Force, now? *she turns towards him derisively* You really have 'gone native'.

Farran: Since when do the Shadows destroy planetary - or galactic - governments? I thought your modus operani was to, well, stay in the shadows.

Aren: There's alot of good reasons for this move. My superiors agree.

Farran: Such as?

Aren: First off, we're not showing our hands. We're hiring assassins to be hands for us. Second, it's really irrelevant whether the assassins succeed or fail, just so long as they do either in an impressive fashion. I'm sure you can guess why.

Farran: No. Why?

Aren: Advertising, Ariel. Advertising. Think about this, if those assassins get closer than anyone else to killing their targets, people are going to notice. Potential customers are going to notice. That's why I went to the New Republic first to offer them our services, when I knew full well they would reject it. Since there's no way to make a profit off of them - especially now, with Lord Flax tightly controlling everything - they get to be our publicity stunts.

Farran: Then why the Blade? Why the crime lords? Why the government leaders of a dozen wildly unrelated planets?

Aren: Those should be obvious. The 'wildly unrelated planets' all have one thing in common; we want something from them, and they won't give it to us. If we try anything overt, the Blades---

Farran: You call creating an assassin guild 'covert'?

Aren: They are not, on the surface, identifiable as directly related to us. We've been spreading around technology similar to what they have through the underworld systems for the past few months. And if our assassins get captured...they die. As for the crime lords, well, they're the opposition. The competition. The guys who won't make deals with strangers like us.

Farran: What about the Blade?

Aren: Again, that's obvious. Termand Rwos is the only Blade in this universe a 'normal' assassin guild would target...and quite simply, I want to see what happens.

Farran: I noticed another former Separatist Councilman on that list as well. Irvine Cracern?

Aren: You do know Irvine Cracern is a Sleeper, right? Just like your friend Kioet...and just like his father.

*location tatooine*

*Kioet's shuttle exits hyperspace and lands on the outskirts of mos eisely. Kioet exits the boarding ramp on a swoop, headed for the cantina*

*Kioet arrives at the cantina and gets off his swoop, jawas become intrigued*

Kioet: if any of you midget tusken wannabes get anywhere near my swoop, you're dead.

*Kioet activates serveral probe assassin droids to guard his swoop, then unpacks and slings his repeating blaster rifle over his back, walks inside the Cantina and up to the bartender*

Kioet: I haven't had a good ale since before my uh...just give me the damn drink, you idiot!

*Cracken and his party board thier shuttle, and Irvine slips into the pilots seat. Cracken motions for Alys to take the copilots seat, and then turns to Starr*

Cracken: I need a full report upon reaching Bastion on fleet and army strength, inventory of ships and squadron strength. I need a list of all battalions of infantry, armored, and mechanized troops.

Have the Generals and Admirals meet upon the flag ship, which ever one it has become in my abscense.

*Cracken turned to his children* Best speed to Bastion, if you will.

*Irvine piloted the shuttle out of the dock and when it got far enough he gunned it into Hyperspace.

He kept quiet for the most of the trip, the sense of the people around him, this was his family, this is what he wished for. That was his father, and that was his sister whom he'd seen for the first time, and he felt too choked to say anything.

He kept a small smile and a stare into the blue streaks of hyperspace.*

Ackbar: Good, then let us begin with the Intelligence Briefing. Colonel Greer, you are the operative most recently on Coruscant, we have all read your report, have you anything to add?

(( Please put Qwera Tokada in there, thanks for asking BD))

Greer: Yes sir, I'd like to add that when we finish the job, there shouldn't be any resistance from civillian faction, the only long-term danger there I'd see would be Reletha leaving behind guerilla or terrorist cells.

Mos Eisley Cantina

*A girl with bright green hair walks up to Kioet as he downs his ale*

Girl: Kioet, is it? I'm Saria. Sorry to keep you waiting.

----------

Cantina Underground, Shadow Base

Farran: Lord Cracken is one of these "Sleepers"?

Aren: Obviously, considering I just said so.

Farran: Why isn't he on the list, then? He's certainly not under your control. And isn't that was this is all about? Control?

Aren: You'd be surprised, Ariel. You'd be surprised.

*She looks at her communicator*

Aren: Oh, good timing. Kioet Csuhen has arrived. What do you say we go greet him?

----------

Imperial Shuttle, Hyperspace

Starr: It shall be done, my lord.

*He throws a sharp glance at Irvine's back*

His emotions are dangerous. Sentiments such as this have been my downfall in the past, and they may well be his as well...

*Turning away from Irvine, he accidentally catches Alysara's eye. He quickly looks away*

There must be no more of this emotion. None!

Briefing

Makon Jil: It's been circulating throughout the ranks sir. There are also rumours that Emperor Cracken has returned.

---------------------------

Godsheim Station

*Elella hits the accept key*

-----------------------------

SSD Lucifer

Malice: What power does this possibly offer? I am just a mind trapped in a jar. What do you want from me?

-------------------------------

Lower Coruscant, Bar

*Two men sit watching the news*

And a second star destroyer has been destroyed by terrorist activities. Chancellor Reletha has imposed martial law to keep the capital secure...

Man #1: Second SSD? What was the first?

Man #2: I can't believe you don't know! Beler Jil smashed a Nebulon B-Frigate into the Flagship just last week! You could see it from down here!

Man #1: I spent all last week in the under-levels. You say Jil's dead? Wasn't he the resistance leader here?

*Man #3 turns to speak to them*

Man #3: He's not dead! My cousin saw him in one of the southern warehouse sectors two days ago!

*Several other patrons join in*

Man #2: How could he have survived that?

Man#4: My sister works in the Central Detention facility, and she said they had a top-security prisoner in there who got busted out during the power outage when the senate building went down!

Cracken: Is this room secure?

Aide: Yes sir.

Cracken: Good, then leave, Ensign.

*The aide leaves.*

Cracken: Generl Flax was contacted several days ago by Palpatine's Apprentice. He has offered us military asistance.

Flax: Currently we've told him to be ready to attack in two weeks. With any luck we will be ready to make our own strike in less than a week and a half. That will give us enough of a leed to take the Capital, hopefully before the Imperial Fleet is gathered.

Sellenna: Currently the Empire is disorganised, we had hoped Palpatine would not reapear for another six months or so. That would have allowed the Imperials to fully fragment and we would have been able to eliminate one War Lord at a time. If Palpatine has reapeared then we will have to find another way to win this war.

Ackbar: For the moment we must go with the current and hold to our half of the bargain, until the Emperor re-initiates hostilities.

*Saria remains standing*

Saria: I'll pass on the seat. I'm here to take you to see Aren. Your mission's ready.

----------

Shadow Base

Farran: Are you ever going to tell me what exactly you have planned for Kioet?

Aren: You're about to find that out, Ariel.

*She pulls up Kioet's image on a monitor, as Saria talks to him*

Aren: The systems underlying his Vanguard armor were particularly difficult for us to decipher. We made a few optomizations and did repair work, but some things in there eluded our analyzers. Oh, by the way - *she looks at Farran, shaking her head* Really shoddy work on the impact armor. Cortosis? What were you thinking?

Farran: There were a few imperfections in the design, but it never progressed past the testing stage. Without access to--- *He stops and cuts himself off*

Almost revealed a little too much.

Farran: Besides, I wasn't the engineer. Or even the main designer.

Aren: Your friend Artemis Omicron.

*Farran doesn't elaborate. Aren turns to watch Kioet again*

Briefing

Colonel Santago *replying to Ackbar* "Well if we can hold off on the attack for those few days, perhaps we could allow the Emperior's forces to attack first? Maybe both his and Reletha's could pound each other down enough, when we arrive 'unexpectingly late', the Emperior's forces wouldn't be strong enough to bring up hostilities for a little while longer, granted if that's in his agenda. At this point who knows, even with a fragmented Empire."

((Although I'd like to say one thing though, since F. Irvine hasn't 'done' anything especally on the polital stand point. prolly anything that he's doing, especally even him with his own fleet, could prolly be still rumors...))

------

SSD Lucifer

F. Irvine "You can move, but more then likey won't have the ability to stand."

*F. Irvine waves his hands, and the controls to Malice's chamber activates. Draining it and releasing the binds.. He then spreads his hand wide open, preventing Malice to fall forward. A hoverchair seems to pilot itself to her chamber as it opens up. Finally Malice gets settled down into the chair.

Now outside of her chamber, poking out of the back of her head, through the hair, ends of cybernetic components stick out.*

F. Irvine "Power you ask? We wait."

*F. Irvine removes his cloak and covers Malice with it.*

F. Irvine "You should be able to move your arms, and as for the force, you'll notice that you're a bit more powerful then you were, but thats not the extent of it."

Malice: I can...feel...the ship. Everything aboard...every circuit..every console...I feel...

*Malice uses the force to spin herself around and look at the other tanks behind hers*

Malice: My eyes are fuzzy. What are those?

Godsheim Station

*Valda arrives at the republic suite. She is wearing her red gold armor, with cape and sword at her side. She is also wearing a red skirt with gold trim, that comes ends a little above her knee.

Her armor is also a mirror like quality to it. She sounds a chime and waits for Ellela (and possible Mirra).*

SSD Vigilance Wreckage

*The Inquiry heads towards the wreckage of the Vigilance in a black streak, tipped by the blue-white glow of its engines*

Blade: Closing in on the signal, sir.

Rwos: That's a Star Destroyer...or used to be...

Gilian: All that is the wreckage of one ship? I thought the Destroyers were about one-tenth the size of what must have caused that...

Rwos: A Super Star Destroyer. A command ship.

Nereli: Curious.

Blade: We have pinpointed the signal. No life signatures present. Instructions, Sai?

Nereli: Send Morde, Poterak and Quinn to retrieve the source of the signal, whatever remains of it.

Blade: Yes, Sai.

Rwos: What about the Imperials still here? They're sure to see us...

Nereli: They are not our concern.

----------

Mos Eisley Cantina

Saria: Good, follow me.

*She walks back to the bar and goes behind the counter, then through an employee door. She takes a couple halls in the labyrinth within, and stops outside a large office-like room. Aren steps out. Farran is behind her*

Aren: Welcome back, Kioet Csuhen. I trust your trip here went well?

Man-From-Corner: This technology hasn't even been invented here yet.....
