Joshi Posted August 11, 2004 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Technically, there doesn't have to be a triangle, there just has to be 3 main islands, hence the Tri (meaning 3), but of course, unless they follow a dead straight line, they would actually have to make a triangle of sorts. But, all the islands you visit in the Monkey Island series, save for Monkey Island itself and Dinky island, should be in the Tri-island area. It appears that Mêlée, Scabb, and Plunder make up the triangle and Blood, Skull, Monkey, and Dinky are no part of the tri-island area Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it is actually an original created by Paco so stealing and saying it's yours. I think all three islands at the beginning of MI2 are in it, bit Booty is the important one. Paco is the resident artist at http://www.worldofmi.com and did most of the themes for the web page inclusing the main one (if you become a member of the site, you can choose to have a random theme each time you go on there). he is also responsible for the, so far, 36 38 page (dear god he's doing this fast!) comic adaption of The Secret of Monkey Island, found here.
