Troopr-Undr-Fir Posted August 22, 2004 Share Posted August 22, 2004 I liked it. Too short for what they were trying to accomplish, but it was a joy to whatch. Liked the AVP action. Specially the end queen sequence, when the predator does some acrobatics , awsome. Story had me intrested. Liked how it had something to do with human civilization And also how at the end The predator and Lex team up... gave me goose bumps some what. And I was also waiting for that last bit at the end to happen... Mmmmmm Praetorian I thought it was worth a whatch... But should have been longer. Praetorians are larger than standard adults, but still only about 1/2 the size of the queen herself. The AvP comics are just now starting to make movies of there own. And the several hour gestation for the chest burster was Comic Canon accurate, so the movie did nothing wrong. Hiroki Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 I just went to see that movie, and I loved it. I don't see why you guys disliked it so much. The fights in it where awesome, and that is what really counts. I believe you went into that theater hoping for a deep plot, when you really should have went in for a slug fest. The violence was fine, I didn't go there to see hummies get cut up, I went to see the Yautja and Xeno's cut each other up. And I got plenty of that. The end fight was amazingly grand. That was one fricken huge queen... It must have been twice the size of the one in aliens at LEAST. A good mentality for first time viewers of AvP to go in with, is to think of this movie as Predator 3, with aliens, rather then alien 5, with predators. If you know what I mean.
