Where are the ships on Kamino?

Where are the ships on Kamino. Earlier it was said there were ships but there arent. Anyone know why?

There aren't any. While I kinda like it being one of the few all-infantry maps, I haven't been able to play it online for some reason. Servers never get to it :/

 

Cloud City doesn't have any either (Carbon chamber level)

Kamino could've atleast had the jedi starfighter and jango's slave 1 (or w/e it's called)

i remember a screenie pre-release of ships on it, but with all the bottlenect spots im glad they took it out. It would be a real massacre, since everyone is kinda close to each other on those bridges etc

Oh, dont worry, there is still the droid starfighter and the jedistarfighter, but they are on differant levels, iv layed them

Well that map is one of the more smaller ones, so taking off you would hear 'You are leaving the Battlefeild!' about half a second later. Im glad they had some maps with all infantry. Kamino is accually one of my favorite maps. I OWN as CIS in that map. I went one on 5 with some guys (Gay AI was there too but it was set to easy) and I came out of it with 46 kills 11 deaths.

yes, Kamino is a fun map but every time i've played it in MP except for once it only last 10 seconds because everyone gangs up ont he CIS and its over like nothing...

The kamino map should of included jedi starfighter and trade federation droid controlled ship plus it should of been larger to fly the ships. But I still like the map!

Yeah but then with only those two ships available, a good portion of people will do nothing but wait around for those ships to spawn, and when the ships finally do, you can certainly expect some of those who are waiting to TK you if you happen to get to these ships first!

 

I think it is best that the ships are left out of this map. The map is too small for ships and It's good to have some infantry only maps anyway. It's not like we have that many of them to start with.

I remember seeing a screenshot for the PS2 on kimino with a jedi starfighter,but this was before it was released.

The map is great, one of m favorites, and I'm glad they took out the fighters. It's too small, and it's so great as a pure infantry map. Maybe if they ever make another kamino map where fighters were more important, kind of like the difference between the two bespin maps.

I think you're confused. This is Kamino. I don't know whay you're talking about, but you're not talking about Kamino. It's the dark rainy one on the ocean. The one where the spawn points ARE the battlefield.

Yeah the Kamino map is the perfect sized infantry map because it isn't that big at all.

Actually, I think he was talking about kamino, because somitimes if you spawn at the wrong locaion, it is hard to find firefights. Whatever i might be werong. Kamino i s one of my favorite maps to snipe on.
