Karten said and crossed his arms.

The gas had stopped and Erica used the Force to move it away from her position. She motioned to Zoric and Kilian to follow her, wishing that Zamar had stayed with them. She led the way, crawling through the little tunnel. This led them back to the sewer system and they were able to stand again.

"Hey, you there!" called a Stormtrooper. Erica shot him with her pistol and ran the other way.

"Come on!" she called to the others. During their little stay in the smaller tunnel, she'd used the Force to heal herself, so she could move on her own again.

As she ran, she took one lightsaber from its hidden perch, just in case. They came to a locked door. Before cutting through, Erica knocked lightly. Apparently, it was some kind of code. Caitlin opened the door and let them through.

"Caitlin," Erica said softly. "Come back with me. We have some Jedi business to take care of."

"That man?" Caitlin questioned, thinking of Zamar. Erica nodded.

"Zamar," she said. "He ran right to the Imperials."

"Use mind trick before aggressive action," Caitlin reminded. Erica agreed and they set off back the way they'd come.

"Seal the door again," Caitlin called over her shoulder. With the door closed, the two Jedi headed back to find Zamar.

"hmm, we shall see, take him away! you now shall truly be a captive, the rest of you, continue your search!"

"sir, a stoormtrooper reported that he saw some fleeing people!"

"well, lets move!" Karten said running in the direction closest to the strom trooper's location.

Kilian watched the 2 women run away.

"Well, at least we don't have to deal with them anymore." he said happily to Zoric.

Zoric stared ahead, either thinking deeply or daydreaming.

"Don't go to sleep just yet you blasted nerf herder! They're still after us. Now lets go steal us a ship and get off this blasted rock."

Zoric spun around with his blaster and pointed it at Kilians neck. "Oh sorry. I thought you were...someone else" said Zoric. He walked down the tunnel and saw a sewer exit. Zoric went through it and they came out in the streets of Naboo. Zoric remembered when Naboo was a beautiful place. Now it was almost in ruins...

Kilian eyed Zoric nervously as they came upon the streets of Naboo. He's jumpy. Be careful, he thought.

As the two walked down the street, signs of the underground battle were beginning to show topside. People began screaming at the sight of Troopers, and in no time the placidity was replaced by hysteria.

Kilian grasped his vibrospear tighter. Things are gonna' get ugly...

The two made their way to the local spaceport.

"This is no time for blasters," Caitlin muttered, dropping her sniper rifle and the blaster she'd been borrowing from Erica. Erica dropped the other blaster and slowed to a walk. Caitlin had also slowed and drawn her lightsaber.

Erica had two lightsabers, one blue and one orange. Caitlin had only one and it was purple. Both women walked slowly, lightsabers drawn and activated, advancing toward the large party of Stormtroopers.

"We'll have to split up," Caitlin said softly. "I'll head down this tunnel and attack from behind while you draw their attention at the front."

"Agreed," Erica answered quickly. "And above all, we have to find Zamar. There's no telling what the Imperials will do to him if given the time."

Zamar stared at the leak in front of him.

Slowly, a drop of water appeared from the wall before slowly falling down into a small stream going off into some direction.

That meant a way out...

The three stormtroopers guarding him, as well as acting as back-up were looking at the direction where blaster-fire was heard, and from time to time, shooting glances at Zamar, checking the ragged man wouldn't do anything surprising.

Zamar hated killing people, since it was always a waste of time. He knew the two jedi's where probably far away by now, leading the foolish Resistance towards defeats just so they could advance to Jedi Knights or whatever.

Sending out a small wave of the Force, Zamar examined the area for anyone with usable force-powers. Feeling the presence of Erica, the jedi who had ordered him around, he nodded to himself. They had went back, probably to kill some troopers for fun.

The lightsaber in Erica's left hand deflected Karten's shot back in his direction, managing to embed itself in a Stormtrooper who had been unfortunate enough to leap forward into Karten's previous location.

"Get ready for a barrage," she muttered. "Hope Caitlin gets behind them quick."

Meanwhile, Caitlin was running through the side tunnel, knowing that every second counted. Erica could not hold everybody off at once... especially not in such a contained area as the sewers.

Erica dropped to the ground, well below the burst of blaster fire aimed in her direction.

"Can't keep this up forever," she grunted, leaping to her feet again. "Come on, Caitlin. Get a move on."

Meanwhile, Caitlin was doing just that. Putting on an extra burst of speed, she reached the main sewer tunnel again. Increasing her speed with the Force, she catapulted herself into the trailing ranks of Stormtroopers. Her purple lightsaber blade flashed all around her as she fell back slightly. Then, she used Mind Trick to confuse some of the Troopers into shooting each other.

Erica grinned. "Perfect timing, Caitlin."

She pushed forward, hoping that Zamar could escape harm in all of this confusion.

The troopers guarding Zamar was shooting wildly at the jedi who had jumped into their fellow troopers.

Zamar, understanding that of some reason, they were here to take him back, sighed. You can't even stop one jedi from reaching her goal. Two, near impossible.

Zamar reached out with the Force for the first time in years, dragging one of the troopers to his feet. The cuffs on him were soon lying on the ground and without a word, he leaped into the two troopers left, confused by the fight.

Knocking one of the troopers blaster out of his hand, Zamar rolled under the others fire, before jumping into a nearby shaft. But he didn't move fast enough as he felt two blastershots penetrate his left leg.

Cursing, he got up, trying to ignore the pain. Looking behind, he saw the troopers helping each other before charging after him.

Caitlin was a spinning blur as she cut into the Troopers closest to her, but she knew they could not keep this up for long. Seeing Zamar attempting an escape, she smiled and aided him by cutting down the two Troopers who were after him. In an odd moment of stillness (seen so often in ), Caitlin spoke to Zamar.

"You ran directly to the Imperials?" she demanded. "Don't you know their standard procedure for dealing with suspected people? They'd starve you, for one... that's not much of a change from with the Rebellion, but I'll tell you what is! They'd pump you so full of drugs or whatever they're calling it now that you wouldn't know what was up or down. Then, you'd tell them everything you know because it seemed like the best thing for you to do!"

Caitlin, Erica's voice echoed through Caitlin's mind. Relax. I'm sure he knew the risks.

Caitlin sighed. "My friend is right. I'm sorry. This day has been too stressful."

She allowed him to crawl further into the shaft as she turned back to the Stormtroopers.

As soon as he's far enough away, we're following him, Caitlin told Erica mentally. Erica winced as a blaster bolt seared through her left arm, causing her to drop the lightsaber she held in that hand. Using the Force, she brought it back up and clipped it to her side.

When this was complete, she retreated to a shaft not far away and slipped in. Caitlin crawled into the same shaft Zamar had taken and used her lightsaber to seal the opening with patches of the ceiling.

"That should hold them for a little," she muttered, wincing suddenly as she realized she was injured. Her right leg had taken at least five blaster bolts. "No time for it now. Best get moving."

She winced and continued crawling.

With nothing to protect her back, Erica dropped with a cry of pain as three blaster bolts seared into her back. Caitlin turned back and blocked Karten's way by causing a cave-in of sorts, piling a great amount of rock to block him. Erica was flat on her face as Caitlin approached her.

"No," she moaned. Erica groaned and Caitlin placed her hands on Erica's back, calling on the power of the Force to heal the wounds. Then, she helped her crawl away and they kept moving after Zamar.

Zamar sat on the ground waiting for the two jedi's. He still kept hope that Caitlin hadn't noticed him using the Force, and had tended his wound as good as he could, with a piece of his turban wrapped around it.

When they approached he dragged himself up.

"You two, get us out of here, seeing how you ruined my exit."

"It'll take a minute," Caitlin snapped, letting Erica drop gently on the floor. "She's in no condition to run off yet. This will take a few minutes... but then wouldn't you know that?"

"What... are you... saying?" Erica groaned as her ears took in the conversation. Caitlin made no reply, staring intently at Zamar for a second before turning her attention to Erica's back.

With one hand, she suddenly reached out and gripped Zamar's leg where he'd been shot and used the Force to heal the area. When she had healed Erica and Zamar, she turned her attention to her own leg. It had been rather chewed up by about seven blaster bolts.

"That's bound to hurt if I don't do something," she muttered, gently moving her hand over the exposed skin. Slowly, the power of the Force began repairing the damage.

"You've had experience with the Jedi," Caitlin said finally, never removing her eyes from her leg. "Something tells me this experience was not outside of the Order, but inside. You were one of us once, weren't you?"

Karten skidded to a halt as there was a cave in.

"clever jedi, but your not out fo this yet." Karten pulled out two themral detonators and a detonation pack, he placed the detonation pack in the middle and the thermal detonators on either side, then blew all three which cleared the way.

Zamar sighed. He hadn't been careful enough. Before he could speak, an explosion was heard, and he got to his feet.

"Sorry jedi. Seems your interregation have to continue elsewhere. If it's even continued that is."

He started moving away from the explosion, following the same stream he had seen earlier.
