A bit of a dillema...

I know about KotOR II(who doesn't). I also know that it's made by a different company, and am a bit afraid if it's a rental instead of a buy. I have 21 dollars to spend on games right now, and I am wondering if it would be worth it to trade in my KotOR I (along with the rest of the games I don't want anymore) for KotOR II. Any help I can get is well appreciated.

well, i felt exactly the way you're feeling right now, cautious.

So I rented the game at Blockbuster. I can automatically say it will be one of the longest games you will ever play. And much of what made the original Kotor RPG of the year are present in this one.

Just different faces, with some new places ;)

While I don't think you should trade in the original KotOR, The Sith Lords is definitely a good long-time investment. It's made by a different company, sure, but the engine is essentially the same and Bioware still had a hand in the development of the game, even though Obsidian was the primary developer.

It'll be worth it, I assure you. :)
